Esta sí que fue una semana intensa (espero que no solo para mí jeje) y me alegra que haya terminado, aunque la siguiente promete ser... Hoy voy a cambiar un poco los géneros musicales para compartirles una canción que desde hace unos meses me gusta demasiado: In My Blood, de The Veronicas.No puedo decir que la letra sea original o profunda, aunque sí que es una idea intensa: llevar el amor por alguien en la propia sangre es perturbante, pero hay cierta belleza en un sentimiento tan primitivo y fogoso. La canción te impacta cuando la escuchas por primera vez.
Con respecto a la música, In My Blood es pegajosa y hace honor al género pop. Tiene un ritmo repetitivo que se adhiere a los oídos y te vuelve adicto a ella. No dejo de repetirla una y otra vez cuando necesito un fondo más relajado pero que cargue una buena cantidad de emoción y sentimiento, y The Veronicas lo logran en esta canción.

This really was an intense week (I hope not only for me hehe) and I'm glad it's over, although the next promises to be... Today I'm going to change musical genres a bit to share a song I've liked a lot for a few months: In My Blood, by The Veronicas.I cannot say that the lyrics are original or deep, although it's an intense idea: to take the love for someone in one's own blood is disturbing, but there's a certain beauty in such a primitive and fiery feeling. The song hits you when you hear it for the first time.
About the music, In My Blood is sticky and lives up to the pop genre. It has a repetitive rhythm that clings to your ears and makes you addicted to it. I keep repeating it over and over again when I need a more relaxed background but that carries a lot of emotion and feeling, and The Veronicas do it in this song.
