Musical Friday / Viernes Musicales: Synthesis - Bring Me to Life (Evanescence)

Hey guys, how's it going?
Not long ago, Evanescence revealed the first track of Synthesis, their next album, and is nothing more than a new version of the theme that launched them to fame: Bring Me to Life. You can trust me when I tell you that it's a million times better than the original!
Bring Me to Life acts as a good first face of the album, staying true to the proposal of removing all the heavy elements of the songs and to elaborate them from scratch, although there are certain melodies, like the violins in the bridge, that maintain the track's original style, combining perfectly with the new sound.
Orchestra arrangements combined with slow-paced electronic music give the song a much more dramatic look, and of course Amy Lee has not lost the magic of sounding gloomy, grim and tortured as she was then. What I say, it has improved a lot!
She no longer looks like the depressed girl we all met as teenagers, but an adult woman who deals with her demons in a much more mature way, is an empress who claims her throne singing at the top of her lungs.
This new version goes in a crescendo, slow but sure, giving you chills down your spine, especially in the bridge of the song, that is simply glorious. It's a majestic track that you should not miss.

No hace mucho, Evanescence reveló la primera pista de Synthesis, su próximo álbum, y es nada más que una nueva versión del tema que los lanzó a la fama: Bring Me to Life. ¡Pueden confiar en mí cuando les digo que es un millón de veces mejor que el original!
Bring Me to Life actúa como una buena primera cara del disco, manteniéndose fiel a la propuesta de quitar todos los elementos pesados de las canciones y elaborarlas desde cero, aunque hay ciertas melodías, como los violines en el puente, que mantienen el estilo original del tema, combinándose perfectamente con el nuevo sonido.
Los arreglos de orquesta combinados con la música electrónica de ritmo lento le dan un aspecto mucho más dramático al tema, y por supuesto que Amy Lee no ha perdido la magia de sonar sombría, tétrica y torturada como en aquella época. Qué cosas digo, ¡ha mejorado muchísimo!
Ya no parece la chica deprimida a la que todos conocimos cuando adolescentes, sino una mujer adulta que lidia con sus demonios de una manera mucho más madura, es una emperatriz que reclama su trono cantando a todo pulmón.
Esta nueva versión va en un crescendo lento pero seguro, provocando que los pelos se te pongan de punta, especialmente en el puente de la canción, que es sencillamente glorioso. Es un tema majestuoso que no pueden dejar de escuchar.
