¡Queremos Velveteen En Español!

Hola Nocturnos! ¿Qué tal? Hoy vengo con un poco de publicidad acerca de mi campaña de traer

Velveteen, de Daniel Marks, a español.
Ya está en la entrada original, pero ya estoy en las redes sociales para hacer eco de la idea, sin embargo, los que no sepan de lo que hablo, les explico brevemente.
En Octubre del 2012 salió a la venta un libro llamado VELVETEEN, de Daniel Marks.
Lo conseguí por casualidad, leí la sinopsis y me gustó tanto que me dio curiosidad y ganas de que saliera en español. Pueden leer la sinopsis traducida en la página de facebook.
Le quiero dar gracias a @SagaLuxVzla @BooksVzla @CDSVzla @mark_henry y @dannymarksya por hacer eco en Twitter, y @DreamsOfGlass además dedicó una entrada a la idea en su blog! THANKS YOU! :D Si hay alguien que también haya hablado de la idea, disculpen, pero no lo vi en ninguna parte :s si me lo hacen llegar con gusto los publicito en la siguiente entrada y en el Twitter de la propuesta.
Les agradecería bastante que compartieran esta propuesta en las redes sociales, blogs, foros, grupos, en todas las partes que puedan, para que más gente conozca Velveteen y así podamos hacerlo salir en español, claro que evitando el spam y respetando las normas de cada uno de los sitios: Si no permiten hacer publicidad, no permiten, punto. Hace unos días me llegó otra noticia al correo, ¡Y estaba muy emocionado por contársela! Meses atrás, en Mayo, les dejé una entrevista que le hice a Lidia Herbada, una escritora española que acababa de lanzar su novela "39 cafés y un desayuno". Ahora, Lidia me contó algo increíble:

A mí me dio bastante curiosidad  así que me senté y me puse en ello jejejeje

Por si fuera poco, Lidia me hizo un detallazo de regalo: ¡¡Su novela en formato Kindle!! Me leí el prólogo y quedé MUY MUY INTRIGADO! Vaya manera de comenzar una historia, tan enigmática y poética. ¡Hacía mucho no leía algo así!
What's more, Lidia made me a big gift: Her novel in Kindle format!! I read the porlogue and I was VERY VERY VERY INTRIGUED! What a way to start a story, so enigmatic, so poetic, so much time since I read something like this!
La puse como una de mis más próximas lecturas porque en serio me da mucha intriga saber de qué es la historia, además de que amor la portada. ES HERMOSAAAAAAAA! Una prueba fiel de que a veces lo sencillo puede ser lo mejor y más atractivo!

Hola chicos! ¿Qué tal están? Luego de unas cortas vacaciones, quiero ponerme un poco al día con mis cositas del blog, y entre ellas está una entrevista que les quiero mostrar :)

Hace un tiempo tuve la oportunidad de conocer al escritor Roy Huff y poco a poco he llegado a considerarlo un buen amigo al otro lado del continente. Por ello decidí darle un lugar en el blog haciéndole una entrevista.
Some time ago I had the oportunity to meet the writter Roy Huff and gradually I have come to considere him a good friend across the continent. BSo I decided to give him a place in the blog with an interview.

Pensando: De nuevo un adolescente!

Una gran descripción de mi día a día :3

¡Hola chicos! ¿Cómo están? Yo reviví... Y SE SINTIÓ INCREÍBLE!

Muchas veces llegaba de la universidad, o de las clases de inglés, y lo único que hacía era escribir, reseñar y salir de los compromisos que tenía en las redes sociales. Luego a dormir, descansar un poco y volver a la rutina al día siguiente...
No es que me queje, lo disfruto mucho, pero a veces la rutina mata el encanto que tienen las cosas que nos gustan: Hacerlas porque debemos aprovechar el tiempo y porque no sabemos si podremos hacerlo luego le quita lo bonito.
Escribir en el blog, reseñar, leer, escribir mis textos, corregir, entrevistar, editar, diseñar, todo era casi una obligación y carrera contra el tiempo para poder exprimirlo al máximo. Cuando llegó el momento en que casi ni me conectaba en facebook ni twitter, solo hacía publicidad y me obligaba a saludar dije: ¡¡Esto no puedo ser posible!! ¡¡Yo también tengo mi vida!!
Luego de eso tiré todo al trasto, y MUY OPORTUNAMENTE, porque logré unas vacaciones en las clases de inglés y el trabajo: ¡TODO Agosto para olvidarse de ser Alan D.D. y ser Alan!
Leo como desquiciado, escucho música todo el santo día, no sé nada de Comunicación Social ni inglés ni de la biblioteca del instituto, no hago nada y llevo algunos días que no toco el Kindle for PC y un mes entero que no sé nada del celular xD. VACACIONES, AMOR MÍO, TE EXTRAÑÉ!!

Entiendo cuando la gente dice que hay que trabajar duro, que hay que aprovechar todas las oportunidades que la vida te da, etc. Pero yo soy solamente un adolescente, tendré la edad de un adulto legal pero aún me siento como adolescente. Y como cualquier otro me gusta perder el tiempo, simplemente disfrutar.
Hace días dejé facebook de lado y entré a Littlemosters.com, la red social para todos los que amamos a Lady Gaga y que tenía SIGLOS sin ver. Para mí fue más gratificante tontear un rato que escribir en mi página de facebook que estoy con una novela pronta por publicar.
He estado varios días así: Haciendo el flojo, viendo videos en internet, riéndome un rato, acostándome tarde, viviendo la vida de cualquier persona de mi edad en la actualidad. Porque seamos sinceros: Eso de estar levantándose a las 6:00 de la mañana, correr a todas partes, llegar a tu casa a las 9:00 pm y dormir a las 11:00 porque si no lo haces no rindes al día siguiente, es ESTRESANTE.
No me parece correcto eso que hacen algunas personas de olvidar su vida y dedicarse únicamente a algo, dejar de lado las demás cosas y su tiempo libre para ese algo y luego que están por morir deciden vivir su vida. Sí, la vida es corta y es una (Según algunos), pero me parece más sensato morir feliz que morir agotado.

Y terminamos con mi favorita :D

Es por eso que a veces desaparezco, que no saben NADA de mí, que simplemente hago Bibidi Babidi Buu y no existo: Porque me canso y quiero disfrutarlo todo, no convertir mi pasión y amor por las letras en una obligación.
Ahora, con el permiso de todos, los que me siguen y los que no, los que me leen y lo que no, me voy a desaparecer otro tiempo más y a seguir haciendo el vago, y en honor a las VAGAciones, no pienso traducir nada de eso. Ya lo dije: SOY ADOLESCENTE y nosotros somos FLOJOS por naturaleza xD
Solo diré que esta sección es para dar opiniones y parece que algunos no lo saben xD Si quieren opinar una opinión, opinen sin  miedo que para opinar opiniones y dejarlas opinadas estamos todos aquí opinando :D

Sangre Enamorada, Natalia Hatt

¡Hola chicos! Nuevamente les vengo con otra reseña xD Esta vez, con una historia de amor de vampiros: Sangre Enamorada, de Natalia Hatt.
Hi guys! I come with reviews again xD This time, a vampire lovestory: Sangre Enamorada (Only in Spanish), by Natalia Hatt.

Alejandra es una chica normal, en lo que cabe: Es dark, ama el arte, es solitaria y siente que no encaja con la gente "común", además de que su única amiga está confundida: Dice que hizo el amor con un vampiro y que fue la experiencia más increíble de toda la vida.
Alejandra is a normal girl, in what may be: She's dark, love the art, she's lonely and feels that she does not fit between "ordinary" people, and her only friend is confused: She says that she make the love with a vampire and was the best experience in her life.
Alejandra cree que está loca, ella no cree en nada del tema paranormal, pero cuando conoce a Nikolav, el prícipe heredero al trono de los vampiros y a la vez se convierte en la futura reina de ellos, tendrá que asimilar muchísimas cosas, incluso si es del todo humana o algo más...
Alejandra thinks she's crazy, she don't believe in nothing paranormal, but when she meets Nikolav, the heir prince to the throne of the vampires and she becomes the future queen of them, she will have to asimilate a lot of things, even she is a human or something else...
La historia estuvo bien, en aspectos generales. Fue interesante leer nuevamente a una chica que queda flechada por un vampiro con más de un siglo de vida, recordé buenos tiempos, además de que el carácter de Alejandra no se parece en nada al de Bella, así que fue muy interesante ver este punto de vista.
The story was good, in general. Was interesting read again about a girl who falls in love with a vammpirre with more than a century of life, I remembered good times plus Alejandra's character is not like Bella, so it was interenting too see this point of view.

Sin embargo, dado que la narración fue muy rápida, algo que me agradó en su momento, no dio tiempo ni espacio para desarrollar el romance como se debía. Lo sentí fugaz, muy rápido y casi inexistente, además de que de repente Alejandra se vuelve algo floja como personaje.
However, since the story was very fast, wich I liked at the time, there was no time or space to develop the romance as it sould. I felt it fleeting, very fast, and almost non-existent, plus Alejandra suddenly becomes loose as a character.
Nada que ver con respecto a Nikolav. Me gustó la forma en que está formado, la forma de actuar, de pensar, todo. Fue uno de esos personajes que te ponen a pensar en por qué carajo no son reales xD Su lado romántico quedó muy inexplorado, sinceramente, pero nuevamente lo digo: Fue por el ritmo acelerado de la historia.
Nothing like Nikolav. I liked the way he is made, his way of act, think, everything. Was one of that characters that make you think what the fuck they are not real xD His romantic side was very unexplored, to be honest, but I say it again: Because the rapid pace of the book.
Creo que en la secuela, Sangre de Hada, podría llegar a ser mejor que este libro. Lo leí un poco y se ve una completa evolución y madurez en cuanto a la forma de escribir de Natalia.
I think that the sequel, Sangre de Hada, could become better that this book. I'd read a bit and it looks a compleete maturity and evolution in the writting of Natalia.

En resumen: Una historia rápida, acelerada, sin tanto romance como debería, pero que te ayuda a disfrutar nuevamente del verdadero amor en las más extremas condiciones.
In short: A quick story, accelerated, without much romance as it sould, but that let you enjoy again with the true love in the most extreme conditions.

Pensando: Novedades, solamente novedades.

¡Hola chicos! ¿Qué tal les va? Hoy 7 me puse a leer el blog de Keila, Océanos de Páginas, y me puso a pensar su entrada sobre los blogs que solo hablan de las novedades...
Hello guys! How are your lifes? Today 7 I was reading Keila's Blog, Océanos de Páginas, and her entry about blogs that only read and write about new books made me think about it.

Todo lo que dice es 100% cierto. Hay personas que leen únicamente leen las nuevas historias, las novedades, el pan recién salido del horno, como me gusta decirle, pero los libros no son solamente esos. Hay grandes obras literarias que no pueden reemplazarse por más versiones o nuevas historias que salgan.
Everything that she says is 100% true, There are people that read only the new storys, the new books, freshly baked bread, like I say, they aren't the only books. There are great work of the literature that cannot be replaced by other versions or new stories come out.
Para mí no hay mejor ejemplo que Drácula y Crepúsculo. Sí, sí, me quieren apedrar por mencionar ambos libros en la misma entrada pero dejen que les explique xD
For me there isn't a bettter example that Dracula and Twilight. Yeah, yeah, you want to kill me because I mentioned both books in the same entry but let me explain you xD
Amo Crepúsculo, todos lo saben perfectamente (Si incluso tengo guardada la entrada del día que fui a ver Amanecer II jajajaja), y soy un defensor de esta saga porque simplemente me parece increíble la forma en que surge el romance entre Bella y Edward, el periodo de Jacob, los peligros, todo. Sí, es cierto que el final es DECEPCIONANTE, pero el resto de la saga es asombrosa.
I love Twilight, everybody knows perfectly (I even have saved my ticket of the day that I saw to Breacking Dawn II hahahaha), and I'm an advocate of this saga because I just find it amazing how there is the romance between Bella and Edward, the Jacob time, the dangers, everything. Yes, is true that the end SUCKS, but the rest of the sotry is great.
Ahora, leo Drácula, y es la otra cara de la historia: De un vampiro que brilla y puede amar, voy a uno que no siente nada, que no le importa el dolor ajeno, que simplemente ve por él. El suspenso, el peligro, la acción, la pelea, todo es explosivo.
Now I read Dracula, and is the other face of the story: From a vampire that can shine and love, I come to one that is senseless, that don't mind about pain in the others, that only care about himself. The suspense, danger, action, fight, everything is explosive.
El romance se mantiene a raya, igual que la acción en Crepúsculo, pero Drácula sentó las bases de los vampiros, la idea que todos tenemos de ellos y la idea que nos puede ayudar a innovar. Piensen: Si Drácula no se quemara en el sol, no creo que Meyer pensara en hacer que sus chupasangres brillaran con él, que sería lo mismo a una condena de muerte.
The romance is bept at by, like the action in Twilight, but Dracula laaid the foundation of the vampires, the idea that we all have of them and the idea that can help us to innovate. Think this: If Dracula does not burn in the sun, I don't believe Meyer bloodsuckers shine with it, that will be the same to a death sentense.
Los libros viejos, los antiguos, fueron los que dieron todas las ideas en las que se basan los libros actuales. Sin ellos, no habría ninguna de las sagas que tanto están de moda: Divergente, Los Juegos del Hambre, Crepúsculo, Cazadores de Sombras, Hush, hush, 50 Sombras, NADA.
The old books were those who gave all the ideas that are the base of actual books. Without them, there will be no one of the series that we love: Divergent, The Hunger Games, The Mortal Instruments, Hush, hush, 50 Shades, NOTHING.
Creo que podemos debemos darles una oportunidad, yo más de una vez empecé a leer los libros de siglos pasados, y fue increíble. Con Drácula me vi transportado a una época distinta a la mía, la forma de escribir era completamente distinta, la forma de actuar, la  forma de hablar, todo era nuevo, como si estuviera leyendo por primera vez, y ahora tengo varios libros que brillaron en su época, libros que sé podrían brillar nuevamente.
I think that we can must give them a chance, more than once I started reading the books of past centuries, and it was amazing. With Dracula I was transported to a different era to mine, the way of writting,  was completely different, the way of act, speak, everything was new, like I was reading by first time, and now I have many book that shone in thir time, books that can shine again.

La Cabaña del Tío Tom, H.B. Stowe

¡Holas! ¡Reseñas de nuevo! ¡Reseñas Everywhere! El libro de hoy no es PARA NADA del estilo que suelo leer, así que los que acostumbren hacerlo, por favor, compasión en las críticas jajajajaja xD Se trata de un libro de literatura histórica: La Cabaña del Tío Tom, de H.B. Stowe.
Hellos! Reviews again! Reviews everywhere!The boook of today is NOT AT ALL  the style I usually read, so, those accostumed to, please, mercy on the critics hahahahaha xD This is a book of historical literatura: Uncle Tom's Cabin, by H.B. Stowe.

El libro trata sobre las dificultades que deben pasar los miembros de la familia del Tío Tom, un negro esclavo de una familia que los trata excelentemente a todos ellos, pero que por necesidades mayores, deben terminan vendidos a tiranos que no los respectan ni tienen en cuenta sus derechos.
The book is about the difficulties that must pass the members of Tom's family, a black slave of a family that treats all of them excellently, but by biggers needs, they are sold to tyrants that doesn't respect them  or take to account their rights.
Tom es enviado con un hombre abusivo, intolerante, racista y abusador, Elisa y su hijo escapan al saber ella que fueron vendidos a alguien de igual carácter, el esposo de Elisa huye de los maltratos que sufre y le dice a su esposa que se reencuentren en Cánada, la esposa de Tom, Clotilde, debe vérselas sola para mantener a su familia sin la ayuda de su marido, incluso la misma familia que tenía a Tom se ve afectada por la ausencia de su compañero.
Tom is sent with a abussive, intolerant, racist and abusive men, Elisa and her son escape when she learns that they were sold to a man like that, Elisa's husband flees from the suffer and abuse and tells to hiis wife to reunite in Canada, Tom's wife, Clotilde, must contend alone  to suppor their family without her husband, even the family that hads Tom is affected by the absence of their partner.

Me encantó. No tanto como mis amadas novelas paranormales o románticas, pero realmente disfruté mucho la lectura. Creo que es una versión muy resumida, pero en líneas generales no noté que faltara algo más, o al menos nada relevante, siendo sincero.
I loved it. No as much like my lovely paranormal or romantic novels, but I really enjoyed so uch the reading. I thinks that is a short version, but overall I didn't noticed it was missing something, or at least nothing important, to be honest.

Los personajes eran muy distintos entre sí, cada uno era único e individual, dándole un muy buen toque de realismo a todo lo que pasa. Los diálogos también están bien formados y se leen de forma fluida.
The characters were so differents between them, every one was unique and individual, giving a good touch of realism to all that happen. The dialogues are good too and they are read fluency.

Cada uno de los personajes busca la libertad, el derecho a ser tratados como personas y el derecho a vivir una vida digna, llena de respecto sin importar su color de piel. Todo es explicado tan bien que sientes que vives a su lado cualquier cosa que les sucede.
Every one of the characters search the freedom, the right to be treated like people and the right of live a decent life, full of respect regardless of their skin color. Everything is explained so well that you fell like you live next to them anything that happens.

En resumen: Un excelente punto de vista sobre la realidad de los esclavos de piel oscura y cómo era su día a día. Muy recomandado
In short: A excellent point of view about the reality of the slaves of black skin and how was their day by day. Highly recommended

Me gusta mucho el teatro y todo lo que tiene que ver en él, así que será interesante leer la obra teatral completa de este autor alemán ¿Qué tendrá adentro? I like so much the theater and all about it, so it's going to be interesting read the complete play of this German author.. What will be inside?

¡¡UNA JOYA!! ¡Eso fue lo que pensé al ver este libro entre los regalos! AMO LA POESÍA, y que me den esta edición de los poemas de PABLO NERUDA para mí es INCREÍBLE!! A GEM!! That's what I thought when I saw this book in the gifs! I LOVE POETRY, and gave me this edition of the poems of PABLO NERUDA for me is AMAIZING!!

Otro de los regalos fue este libro sobre el saqueo cultural de las sociedades indígenas latinas. Siempre me han gustado las costumbras de los aborígenes, creo que se puede aprender bastante de ellos, así que este libro para mi es un tesoro muy valioso. Other of the gifs was this book about the cultural looting in the latin indigenous socities. I've ever liked the customs of the natives, I think that we can learn a lot from them, so this book for me is a very valuable treasure.

Este libro me parece bastante curioso: Mezcla la vida del autor con pensamientos filosóficos acerca de las peersonas por medio de las consultas de un médico con sus pacientes. This books seems to me rather curious: Mix the author's life with philosophical thoughts about people throught medical consultations of a doctor whit his patients.

¡Y es bastante corto! And is so much short! 

Igual que con el libro de Neruda, este libro es otra joya para mí. No hay nada que me guste más que las ediciones raras, inéditas o las primeras ediciones de un libro. As with Neruda's book,this book is another gem for me. There's nothing I like more than rare, unpublished or the first editions of a book.

Hoy toca otra reseña editorial, y es el turno de Love, Technically, de Lynne Silver. Este libro también lo pedi a Entangled Publishing y fue una carrera leerlo, pero LO DISFRUTÉ MUCHÍSIMO
Today I have anothe editorial review, and it's the time of Love, Technically, of Lynne Silver. I also asked for this book to Entagled Publishing, and it was a race to read it, but I ENJOIED IT VERYMUCH.

La historia nos habla de cómo Michelle Kolson cambia de vida al mudarse a Chicago. Allí logra un empleo en una compañía de celulares y siente que será el comienzo de una nueva vida.
The story talks abaout how Michelle Kolson  change of life by moving to Chicago. There she she gets a job and feels like is the start of a new life.
Sin embargo, cuando conoce a Sark en su primer día de trabajo, cree que es un técnico de computación de la empresa, cuando en realidad es Noah Freelish, el Director Ejecutivo.
However, whe she meets Sark in her first day of work, she thinks that he's a computer technic of the company, when he really is Noah Freelish, de CEO.
Instantáneamente, comienza un fogoso romance entre ambos, pero Michelle no sospecha nada acerca de que Sark y Noah, su jefe que cree no conocer aún, son lo mismo. Hasta que un día la mentira termina y Michelle debe decidir si puede continuar con su trabajo o es mejor volver al pequeño pueblo en Iowa donde estuvo toda su vida.
Instantly, begins a hot romance between they two, but Michelle does not suspect anything abouta that Sar and Noah, the boss that she thinks she dond't meet yet, are the same. Until one day, when the lie ends and Michell have to decide if she can still in her work or is better return to the small twon in Iowa when she've been all her life.

La historia fue bastante creíble en algunos puntos, no tanto en otros, pero fue realmente interesante ver cómo se desarrollaba todo, cómo Michelle tomaba las cosas a medida que sucedían, cómo Sark trataba de enfrentar todo y estar con Michelle. Fue una historia realmente bonita.
The story was so believable in some points, no much in others, but it was really interesting to see how everything unfolded, how Michelle took things as they were happening, how Sark face everythig and still with Michell. It was a really nice story.
Como siempre, no todo es perfecto. Personalmente creo que el clímax tardó un poco más de lo necesario, casi al final de todo, y el final pudo haber estado mucho mejor, pero la manera de hacer fue GRANDIOSA. Cuando sucedió, solamente pude decir: ¡ESA #$%&@!
Like always, nothing is perfect. Personally I think that the climax took a little longer most than the necesary, almost to the very end, and the end itself could have been better, but the way of made it was GREAT! When it happened, I said: THAT $#%&@!!

En resumen: Cursi, realista, fantasiosa, pero al mismo tiempo con los pies en la tierra. Lynne Silver creó una pareja que me hizo envidiar con toda el alma.
In short: Chessy, realistic, fantiful, but at the same time whit the shoes in the eart. Lynne Silver created a couple that made me jealous whit all my soul.
