These days I started listening to a band you may not be familiar with, Garbage, and became addicted to their single Why Do You Love Me, a song that carries so much energy and life on it I cannot not keep listening to it over and over again.

In terms of content, the song deals with the confusion that someone who has a crush on us, the anxiety we have to deal with and the many attempts to understand where that feeling came from. It obvious is written from the point of view of a girl, but the idea is neutral.

The voice Shirley Manson is simply incredible, simple, natural, organic, and the lyrics reflect that same emotions. Her music is a perfect match for her kind of tones, sweet yet filled with energy to the core. That's exactly what I've been needing lately.

As for the music, the structure seems to be very solid for me, it has a very active tempo and a balance between the insturments and the voice of Manson. It lifts me up everytime I listened to it, maybe because I can relate to the feeling, maybe because I overexcited, but I still love it.

Estos días comencé a escuchar a una banda con la que no estarán familiarizados, Garbage, y me volví adicto a su sencillo Why Do You Love Me, una canción que lleva tanta energía y vida. No puedo dejar de escuchar una y otra vez.

En términos de contenido, la canción trata sobre la confusión por alguien que está enamorado de nosotros, la ansiedad con la que tenemos que lidiar y los muchos intentos de entender de dónde viene ese sentimiento. Es obvio que está escrito desde el punto de vista de una chica, pero la idea es neutral.

La voz de Shirley Manson es simplemente increíble, simple, natural, orgánica, y las letras reflejan las mismas emociones. Su música es una combinación perfecta para su tipo de tonos, dulce pero llena de energía hasta el núcleo. Eso es exactamente lo que he estado necesitando últimamente.

En cuanto a la música, la estructura parece ser muy sólida para mí, tiene un tempo muy activo y un equilibrio entre los instrumentos y la voz de Manson. Me levanta cada vez que la escucho, tal vez porque puedo relacionarme con las emociones, tal vez porque estoy sobre-emocioado, pero aún así me encanta.
