Pensando: ¿De dónde viene el Orgullo? / Thinking: Where does Pride come from?

Buenos días, gente bonita. ¿Cómo les ha ido? Hoy estaba pensando en qué compartir con ustedes en el blog, y justo recordé que hace dos días estaba hablando sobre el inicio del mes del orgullo, de lo importante que es, de lo que significa, y más. Sin embargo, ¿de dónde viene? Por lo menos, en el continente americano, hubo una serie de protestas que marcaron un antes y un después en el tema de la diversidad sexual, y es una fecha que se celebra todos los años sin falta. Les dejo un excelente video de History Channel que explica de manera sencilla lo que fueron los Disturbios de Stonewall. Está en inglés, pero los subtítulos en español son súper sencillos de poner: le dan clic a la ícono de configuración del video, que parece un engranaje, seleccionan subtítulos, seleccionan español, et voila, listos para escuchar.

Today I was thinking about what to share with you on the blog, and I just remembered that two days ago I was talking about the start of pride month, how important it is, what it means, and more. However, where does it come from? At least, in the American continent, there were a series of protests that marked a before and after on the issue of sexual diversity, and it's a date that is celebrated every year without fail.
