¿Por qué me obsesionan tanto las brujas? / Why am I so obsessed with witches?

Siempre he dicho que me encantan las brujas, que me fascinan, que me obsesionan (no me digas, las incluyes en todos tus libros), pero hasta ahora no he dicho nada con respecto al por qué de esto, qué es lo que me hace volver a ellas en cada historia que escribo.
Me tengo que poner algo profundo filosófico en esto. Creo que el ser humano siempre querrá controlar aquello que está a su alrededor, y además, creo en el manejo de las energías, en que las personas tenemos dones dormidos esperando ser usados. Vamos, practico reiki, leo el tarot, y más.

Las brujas resumen muy bien ambas percepciones. Una bruja está perfectamente consciente de sus poderes, de sus energías, y las manipula a su antojo. Aunque su magia pase desapercibida, siempre surtirá efecto.

Además, las brujas son temidas y veneradas por igual, la sociedad de la que son parte las respeta por eso mismo, y aunque a veces se enfrenten a la intolerancia, una bruja siempre sabrá hacer frente. Para mí son símbolos de poder, potencial y misterio. Nunca sabes qué te pueden decir.

Si a todo esto le ponemos el hecho de que las brujas buenas son casi siempre pasadas por alto en el entretenimiento, o son unas inútiles como la de Hansel & Gretel: Cazadores de Brujas (que mujer más incompetente, en serio), o no dan la talla para las expectativas que tengo, tendrán una idea de por qué siempre las uso: ¡Los medios no les hacen justicia!
