Levántense y brillen, nocturnos. ^^ Espero que hayan tenido un gran fin de semana y un lindo día de Valentín. Para mí, fue principalmente un día de música por la falta de compañía significativa en ese sentido, pero en lugar de estar abatido, vine hoy para contarles acerca de una de las canciones que más les escuché desde que salió: Wanted, el nuevo sencillo japonés de Monsta X.
Puede que sea un poco parcial ya que Monsta X es uno de los grupos que me hizo volver a Kpop, pero trataré de ser lo más serio posible. Se trata de una canción con un ritmo pegadizo y altamente bailable, con voces equilibradas en donde nadie destaca por encima de nadie, sino que hay un balance perfecto entre todos los estilos de canto.
Al igual que sucede con Follow, Wanted es un tema imposible de no escuchar que habla sobre la atracción más intensa, la que saca los intintos básicos y primitivos de cada persona. Altamente comercial, es una canción que te acelera el pulso desde el primer segundo al último, cuando ya no puedes más y se te abaron las reservas de energía (como yo en este momento #MeDuermo).
Visualmente hablando, es un video mucho más maduro y oscuro que los trabajos anteriores del grupo. La iluminació y la atmósfera se notan más adultas, más serias y desprovistas de los videos coloridos que suelen hacer Monsta X. Me encantaron los movimientos de cámara junto con la edición de imagen, que combinan a la perfección con el ritmo frenético de la música.
Cada vez que necesiten una recarga, Wanted es una opción segura. Monsta X ha madurado sin perder su escencial enérgica, apostando por una coreografia con altibajos pero altamente detallada. El próximo álbum del grupo llega el 10 de marzo, pero confío en que podemos cruzar los dedos y esperar que tengamos otro sencillo, otro video, o algo, antes de esa fecha.

Rise and shine, nightlies. ^^ I hope you had a great weekend and a nice Valentine's Day. For me, it was mostly a music day for the lack of significant company in that sense, but instead of moping around I came today to tell you about one of the songs I listened to them most since it came out: Wanted, Monsta X's new Japanese single.
I may be a bit biased since Monsta X is one of the groups that made me come back to Kpop, but I'll try to be as serious as possible. It's a song with a catchy and highly danceable rhythm, with balanced voices where no one stands out above anyone, but there is a perfect balance between all the singing styles.
As with Follow, Wanted is an impossible-to-miss song that talks about the most intense attraction, the one that brings out the basic and primitive instincts of each person. Highly commercial, it's a song that quickens your pulse from the first second to the last one, when you can't take it anymore and your energy reserves are gone (like me at this moment #DyingToSeep).
Visually speaking, it's a much more mature and darker video than the group's previous works. The lighting and atmosphere feel more adult, more serious, and devoid of the colorful videos that Monsta X usually does. I loved the camera movements along with the image editing, which perfectly matches the frenetic rhythm of the music.
Every time they need a recharge, Wanted is a safe option. Monsta X have matured without losing their energetic essence, betting on a choreography with ups and downs but highly detailed. The group's next album arrives on March 10th, but I'm confident that we can keep our fingers crossed and hope we get another single, another video, or something, before then.
