¿Qué tipo de libros leo y escribo? / What kind of books do I read and write?

Buen día, gente. Espero que estén bien. ^^ Ayer me di cuenta de que no he tocado algo importante en el blog, y no sé qué me pasó. Los que lean desde hace tiempo ya saben qué tipos de libros leo y escribo, pero anoche me di cuenta de que no tengo nada explícito al respecto en el blog, así que, para quienes quieran enviarme sus libros para reseñar (claro que no es una indirecta), ya sean novelas, cuentos, cómics, manga, o cualquier otro, o quieran saber qué libros escribo y reseñarme (tampoco es una indirecta), henos aquí. Para evitar cualquier favoritismo, la lista de géneros está por orden alfabético; y aclaro que no tengo problemas con finales tristes o trágicos.

Fantasía: En realidad, estoy súper feliz de que sea el primer género, porque es lo que más leo, y fueron este tipo de historias las que me hicieron enamorarme de la lectura. Siempre le digo que sí a un libro de fantasía prometedor, ya sea fantasía oscura, alta, baja, urbana, o cualquier otro subgénero, siempre y cuando la trama no se pierda con el world-building.

Gótico: Los clásicos que definieron un estilo sombrío son mis amores eterno también. Poe, Stoker, Shelley, Wilde, y cualquier otra cosa que se les parezca, pasando por autores más modernos como la inigualable Anne Rice. ¡Y si historias modernas que hagan homenaje al género, también! Son libros que exploran la realidad desde un punto de vista del que me enamoro siempre.

LGBT+: No es ningún secreto que me encantan las historias diversas, además de que siempre tocan temas sociales y porque estas historias son necesarias hoy en día. Cualquier color del arco iris está perfecto, aunque últimamente quiero leer algo más allá de historias gay o lésbicas o que sean de otras culturas diferentes a la mía. 

Recuentos: ¿A quién no le gustan los cuentos de hadas, los mitos, las leyendas, y pare usted de contar? Incluso en mi bio digo que tengo una fijación por los recuentos y que me encanta reconstruirlos, refabricarlos, mezclarlos, y hacer algo nuevo desde cero.

Romance: Es mi placer culposo, principalmente el romance paranormal, porque aunque se repiten muchas veces los mismos temas y dinámicas, no dejo de soñar con estas historias. La forma en que los personajes superan los obstáculos me fascina y siempre hay algo nuevo, sin importar qué libro tome, por no mencionar que se combina perfectamente con cualquier otro género de la lista, jeje.

Terror: Dudo que a alguien le sorprenda. Amo una buena historia que me ponga los pelos de punta o me cause pesadillas (metafóricamente hablando, claro). No tengo problemas con la sangre o la violencia si aporta algo a la historia, pero si hay exceso solo por morbo, pues sí tengo problemas, aunque defiendo mucho el género.

Good day, people. I hope you are well. ^^ Yesterday I realized that I haven't touched something important on the blog, and I don't know what happened to me. Those who have read for a long time already know what types of books I read and write, but last night I realized that I have nothing explicit about it on the blog, so, for those who want to send me their books to review (of course it is not a hint), be it novels, short stories, comics, manga, or any other, or want to know what books I write and review me (also not a hint), here we are. To avoid any favoritism, the list of genres is in alphabetical order; and I clarify that I have no problems with sad or tragic endings.

Fantasy: Actually, I'm super happy that this is the first genre, because it's the one I read the most, and it was these kind of stories that made me fall in love with reading. I always say yes to a promising fantasy book, be it dark, high, low, urban fantasy, or any other sub-genre, as long as the plot isn't lost with world-building.

Gothic: The classics that defined a somber style are my eternal loves too. Poe, Stoker, Shelley, Wilde, and anything else that resembles them, passing through more modern authors like the unique Anne Rice. And if modern stories that pay homage to the genre, too! They are books that explore reality from a point of view that I always fall in love with.

Horror: I doubt anyone would be surprised. I love a good story that makes my hair stand on end or gives me nightmares (metaphorically speaking, of course). I don't have problems with blood or violence if it contributes something to the story, but if there's excess just because of morbidity, then I do have problems, although I defend the genre a lot.

LGBT+: It's no secret that I love diverse stories, besides that they always touch on social issues and because these stories are necessary today. Any color of the rainbow is perfect, although lately I want to read something beyond gay or lesbian stories or those from other cultures different from mine.

Retellings: Who doesn't like fairy tales, myths, legends, and whatever else you can think about? Even in my bio I say that I have a fixation on retellings and that I love to rebuild them, re-made them, mix them up, and do something new from scratch.

Romance: It's my guilty pleasure, mainly the paranormal romance, because although the same topics and dynamics are repeated many times, I don't stop dreaming about these stories. The way the characters overcome obstacles fascinates me and there's always something new, no matter what book I take, not to mention it blends perfectly with every other genre on the list, hehe.
