Hashimoto es un asalariado perfectamente promedio, que trabaja en una oficina repetitiva, y su jefe, elegante y estricto, lo empeora aún más, ya que insiste en que todo se haga según las reglas. ¡Lo que sea que haga por este perfeccionista, no es lo suficientemente bueno! Afortunadamente, Hashimoto puede volver a casa a su videojuego en línea favorito, donde puede descargarse en los hombros indulgentes de su mejor amigo, a quien solo conoce por el nombre de "Uma". El dúo hace planes para encontrarse en persona, pero cuando lo hacen, Hashimoto se horroriza ante una revelación que cambiará su vida por completo...

¡Esta historia es más adorable de lo que pensé que sería! Hay mucho drama, humor y situaciones hilarantes. No es tan directa como otros mangas que he leído, pero funciona con facilidad. El guión es sólido y ambos personajes son muy humanos, lo que hace que sea aún más fácil sumergirse en el mundo de Hashimoto y Uma.

Lo clasificaría como un romance de desarrollo lento con toneladas, toneladas de humor. Sin embargo, eso no significa que sea idealista o una parodia. Todo lo contrario. Es una buena representación de cómo puede ser la vida real a veces. Me sentí como Hashimoto más de una vez, y aunque Uma también fue un personaje asombroso que me agradó, me resultó un poco más difícil simpatizar con él.

El arte tampoco decepciona. La mezcla de estilos combina con los diferentes tonos de la historia, creando una atmósfera completa y saludable alrededor de estos dos y los primeros problemas que encuentran juntos. Sinceramente, me encanta el arte detallado, pero el estilo de dibujo agradable, limpio y simple funcionó para este manga. Solo desearía que hubiera habido un poco más de historia de fondo, más contexto sobre estos dos.

En general, es una historia que se lee sola, perfecta para una tarde o noche en la que quieres soñar despierto sin preocupaciones en el mundo. Perdí la cuenta de las veces que sonreí y me reí, lo cual me sorprende porque no fui fanático de The Yearning Fox Lies in Wait del autor, en absoluto. Esta, sin embargo, es una historia linda que calienta el corazón e ilumina el día. ¡Definitivamente recomendada!

Hashimoto is a perfectly average salaryman, working a repetitive office job, made all the worse by his stylish, strait-laced boss, who insists everything be done by the book. Whatever he does for this perfectionist, it's just not good enough! Thankfully, Hashimoto can go home to his favorite online video game, where he can unload on the forgiving shoulders of his best friend, whom he knows only by the name "Uma." The duo make plans to meet in person, but when they do, Hashimoto is horrified by a revelation that will change his entire life…

This story is more adorable than I thought it would be! There's a lot of drama, humor, and hilarious situations. It doesn't go as straight-forward as other mangas that I've read, but it makes it work with ease. The script is solid and both characters are very human, which makes it even easier to get immersed in the world of Hashimoto and Uma.

I would classify it as a slow-burn romance with tons, tons of humor. However, that doesn't mean it's idealistic or a parody. Quite the opposite. It's a good representation of what real life sometimes can be like. I felt like Hashimoto more than once, and while Uma was also an amazing character that grew on me, I found it a bit harder to sympathize with him.

The art doesn't dissappoint either. The mix of styles matches the different tones of the story, creating a complete, wholesome atmosphere around these two and the first issues they find together. Honestly, I love detailed art, but the nice, clean, simple drawing style worked for this manga. I only wish there would have been a bit more backstory, more context about these two.

All in all, it's a story that reads itself, perfect for an afternoon or evening when you want to daydream without a worry in the world. I lost count of the times that I smiled and laughed, which is surprising to me because I wasn't a fan of the author's The Yearning Fox Lies in Wait, at all. This, however, is a cute story that warms the heart and lights up the day. Definitely recommended!
