Digamos que lo he hecho estos días gracias a un manga que me hace sonreír muy seguido.  Cuando Lizel se encuentra misteriosamente en una ciudad que tiene extrañas similitudes con la suya pero claramente no lo es, rápidamente acepta la improbable verdad: este es un mundo completamente diferente. Aun así, la relajada Lizel no es del tipo que entra en pánico. Inmediatamente se propone aprender más sobre este extraño lugar y, para ayudarlo a hacerlo, contrata a un aventurero experimentado llamado Gil como su guía turístico y protector.

Hasta que pueda encontrar un camino a casa, Lizel cree que esta es una oportunidad perfecta para explorar una nueva forma de vida aventurándose como parte de un gremio. Después de todo, está seguro de que eventualmente se irá a casa... ¡también podría disfrutar de unas vacaciones de otro mundo por ahora!

Al igual que en el primer volumen, este libro es bastante tranquilo y empieza justo después del anterior. Vemos que el lazo entre Lizel y Gil se va fortaliciendo, la química se vuelve más notoria, y aprovecho para aclarar que no es un romance, sino una amistad en crecimiento en donde cada uno aporta algo al equipo que conforman.

Como es de esperarse, el arte es impecable. Poco y nada que decir, aunque sí debo mencionar que una de las últimas secuencias me parecío un poco más larga de lo que debería. Fuera de eso, no puedo quejarme de nada porque realmente es un manga hermoso y con un acabado muy cuidado. Me encantó también el diseño de varios personajes, de algunas criaturas.

La historia en sí es bastante tranquila, sin mucha acción, y justo cuando parece que vamos a tener una buena dosis, hay un fundido a negro, que deja poco a la interpretación, dicha sea la verdad, pero que también aniquila la emoción del momento. Sí hay un buen desarrollo y varias sorpresas, pero esperaba un poco más de este volumen, lo cual creo que fue un error considerando cómo avanzó el primero.

Si les gustan las aventuras tranquilas, atmosféricas, carghadas de sorpresas y personajes simpáticos, A Gentle Noble's Vacation Recommendation, Volumen 2 es la elección ideal. La serie evoluniona muy bien, quizá no tan rápido como uno esperaría viniendo de un manga shonen, pero que transmite la calma y efecto sanador que caracteriza a al iyashikei.

When Lizel mysteriously finds himself in a city that bears odd similarities to his own but clearly isn't, he quickly comes to terms with the unlikely truth: this is an entirely different world. Even so, laid-back Lizel isn't the type to panic. He immediately sets out to learn more about this strange place, and to help him do so, hires a seasoned adventurer named Gil as his tour guide and protector.

Until he's able to find a way home, Lizel figures this is a perfect opportunity to explore a new way of life adventuring as part of a guild. After all, he's sure he'll go home eventually... might as well enjoy the otherworldly vacation for now!

As in the first volume, this book is quiet enough and starts right after the previous one. We see that the bond between Lizel and Gil is strengthening, the chemistry becomes more noticeable, and I take the opportunity to clarify that it is not a romance, but a growing friendship where each one contributes something to the team that they make up.

As expected, the art is impeccable. Little and nothing to say, although I must mention that one of the last sequences seemed a little longer than it should. That aside, I can't complain about anything because it really is a beautiful manga with a very careful finish. I also loved the design of various characters, of some creatures.

The story itself is quite calm, without much action, and just when it seems that we are going to have a good dose, there's a fade to black, which leaves little to interpretation, truth be told, but which annihilates the emotion of the moment as well. There's a good development and several surprises, but I was expecting a little more from this volume, which I think was a mistake considering how the first one progressed.

If you like quiet, atmospheric adventures, full of surprises and friendly characters, A Gentle Noble's Vacation Recommendation, Volumen 2 is the ideal choice. The series evolves very well, perhaps not as fast as one would expect coming from a shonen manga, but it conveys the calm and healing effect that characterizes iyashikei.

Buen día, Nocturnos. Espero que hayan estado bien estos días mientras que yo tuve que encargarme de la vida real. Hoy vengo con una reseña musical que me ha costado un poco. Aunque Chromatica fue lanzado el año pasado, ni siquiera la edición del 10 aniversario de Born This Way pudo ponerle un final a esta era, por lo que Gaga nos llevó de vuelta con un amanecer musical fuera de este mundo casi perfecto con Dawn of Chromatica.

Aunque fiel al pop como género principal, este disco nos lleva a los límites inexplorados de Chromatica donde lo experimental se funde con lo comercial. Gaga nunca se ha sentido intimidada por probar nuevas direcciones, y eso es justo lo que hizo en este nuevo lanzamiento acompañada por talentos jóvenes cuyas ideas distan de lo común. Con un inicio ecléctico al que cuesta acostumbrarse, Dawn of Chromatica incluye remezclas explosivas de las canciones originales.

Me tomó tiempo encontrarle el gusto a al trabajo de LSDXOXO y COUCOU CHLOE con Alice y Stupid Love, respectivamente, mientras que fue más fácil bailar al ritmo de Arca y su versión de Rain On Me (me sorprendió ver el nombre de Venezuela en un disco de Lady Gaga, honestamente). Por otro lado, Rina Sawayama y Clarence Clarity incendiaron Free Woman, haciéndola la pista más amada por los fans tan pronto como salió el álbum.

El toque tropical que Pabllo Vittar le dio a Fun Tonight me chocó al principio porque odio (casi toda) la música latina, pero el contraste se vuelve atrapante cuando lo escuchas de nuevo. Mientras que Charli XCX and A. G. Cook le dan un aspecto más oscuro y tétrico a 911, Ashnikko le da rienda suelta a su estilo experimental en Plastic Doll, volviéndola una canción pegajosa de la que es difícil deshacerse.

Vuevo a tener sentimientos encontrados con la versión Sour Candy por Shygirl y Mura Masa, al igual que con el trabajo de Doss en Enigma, ambas con fuertes influencias de música trance, aunque la segunda es bastante pegajosa. Luego del rabioso remix por Dorian Electra para Replay que combina pop y metal más escandaloso con éxito, está un desastre que se supone es Sine from Above y una versión incípido y sin emoción de 1000 Doves. Total decepción con estas dos. Finalente, cerramos con dos versión de Babylon, la cación más elegante que Gaga ha creado: un enérgico himno techno por Bree Runaway con Jimmy Edgar, y la versión temprana que se usó en 2019 para Haus Laboratories.

Con altos y bajos dramáticos, Dawn of Chromatica es el trabajo más arriesgado de Lady Gaga hasta ahora, y diría que de no ser por esas dos decepciones estrepetosas que destruyeron dos temas hermosos, sería un disco perfecto. El que saliera solo un mes antes de su segundo disco con Tony Bennet, Love for Sale, solo sirve para confirmar el talento de esta mujer que toma al toro por los cuernos sin importar de qué color se vista. Mientras dura la espera, tenemos un amanecer que sigue rompiendo records en reproducciones y ganando el respeto y amor de muchos. ¿Pero qué opinan ustedes al respecto? Good morning, Nocturnos. I hope they were good these days while I had to take care of real life. Today I come with a music review that has cost me a bit. Although Chromatica was released last year, not even the 10th-anniversary edition of Born This Way could put an end to this era, so Gaga brought us back with a near-perfect out-of-this-world musical dawn with Dawn of Chromatica.

Although faithful to pop as the main genre, this album takes us to the unexplored limits of Chromatica where the experimental meets the commercial. Gaga has never been intimidated by trying new directions, and that's exactly what she did in this new release accompanied by young talents whose ideas are far from the ordinary. With an eclectic start that takes some getting used to, Dawn of Chromatica includes explosive remixes of the original songs.

It took me time to find a liking for LSDXOXO and COUCOU CHLOE's work with Alice and Stupid Love, respectively, while it was easier to dance to the rhythm of Arca and her version of Rain On Me (I was surprised to see Venezuela's name on a Lady Gaga album, honestly). On the other hand, Rina Sawayama and Clarence Clarity set Free Woman on fire, making it the most loved track by fans as soon as the album came out.

The tropical touch that Pabllo Vittar gave to Fun Tonight shocked me at first because I hate (almost all) Latin music, but the contrast becomes compelling when you listen to it again. While Charli XCX and A. G. Cook give 911 a darker and gloomier look, Ashnikko unleashes her experimental flair on Plastic Doll, turning it into a catchy song that's hard to get rid of.

I have mixed feelings again with the Sour Candy version by Shygirl and Mura Masa, as well as Doss's work on Enigma, both with strong trance influences, although the latter is quite catchy. After Dorian Electra's raging remix for Replay that successfully blends outrageous pop and metal with success, there's a mess that's supposed to be Sine from Above and a tasteless, emotionless version of 1000 Doves. Total disappointment with these two. Finally, we close with two versions of Babylon, the most elegant song Gaga has ever created: an energetic techno anthem by Bree Runaway with Jimmy Edgar, and the early version that was used in 2019 for Haus Laboratories.

With dramatic highs and lows, Dawn of Chromatica is Lady Gaga's riskiest work yet, and I'd say that if it weren't for those two raucous disappointments that destroyed two beautiful tracks, it would be a perfect record. The fact that it came out just a month before her second album with Tony Bennet, Love for Sale, only serves to confirm the talent of this woman who takes the bull by the horns no matter what color it dresses. While the wait lasts, we have a dawn that continues to break records in reproductions and win the respect and love of many. But what do you guys think about it?
