Buenos días, gente bonita. ^^ Ya no queda nada para que se termine este año, y Navidad está literalmente a la vuelta de la esquina. Saliendo de las últimas reseñas del año, quiero contarles sobre un manga que me tiene enamorado, un volumen que me gustó bastante y me mantuvo entretenido estos días: A Gentle Noble's Vacation Recommendation, Volumen 3 por Misaki, Momochi, y Sando. ¡Gracias a la editorial por enviarme una copia a cambio de una reseña honesta!

Después de derrotar al dragón subterráneo y terminar su negocio en la ciudad mercantil de Marcade, Lizel y Gil reanudan su viaje, habiendo prometido al abuelo de Judge proteger a Judge en el camino. ¡Pero el peligro pronto los alcanza cuando un extraño grupo de bandidos llamado Forky Gang ataca en medio de la noche! Rápidamente queda claro que alguien está apuntando a Lizel... pero ¿quién podría ser y por qué motivo?

Como siempre, el exnoble y actual aventurero Lizel toma todos los nuevos desarrollos con calma en su forma habitual y relajada. Está celebrando su ascenso de un simple rango E a un aventurero de rango D, ¡y está poniendo su mirada en subir de rango nuevamente pronto!

Este volumen en particular me gustó porque finalmente tenemos un vistazo de la vida de Lizel antes de aparecer en el mundo de Gil. Aunque breve, transmite muchos sentimientos que contrastan con el tono calmado y relajado del manga en general. El efecto balancea bastante la lectura, por no mencionar que el desarrollo nos lleva por un camino interesante al enfocar a más personajes además de los dos protagonistas.

El arte como siempre es excelente, con un toque de ironía que combina muy bien con el guión. Sigue transmitiendo esa alegría y pureza de corazón que pocas veces encuentras, y que me hacen pensar en este como un manga Iyashikei (solo en inglés). Hay algunas escenas más subidas de tono que permiten justamente para que los personajes muestren otros lados, aunque me gustaría ver a Lizel y Gil salir de sus zonas de comodidad más seguido, ver más facetas de ellos y no solo las de los secundarios.

Creo que esa sería la única queja que tendría en este momento, que justamente los protagonistas nos han mostrado solo un lado de ellos por ahora. Me gustaría verlos a ambos tener reacciones diferentes, porque se vuelve una lectura un poco predecible en este aspecto, aunque las escenas de las misiones le siguen añadiendo encanto a todo. Y esta no es una queja como tal, pero hay altas, altísimas vibras de personajes LGBT aquí. Sé que Lizel y Gil no entran en el paquete, pero hay otros que me ponen a pensar muchísimo.

En general, A Gentle Noble's Vacation Recommendation, Volumen 3 me pareció una lectura bastante buena. Llena de magia, fantasía ligera, y giros en la trama, te mantiene entretenido hasta el final, que es cuando te preguntas en qué momento se pasó todo el manga. Me ha pasado lo mismo con los anteriore,s pero este se me hizo especialmente rápido. Dependiendo de lo que prefiera cada uno, esto puede ser bueno o malo, pero a mí me encantó y se los recomiendo a ojos cerrados.

After defeating the underground dragon and finishing up their business in the mercantile city of Marcade, Lizel and Gil resume their journey, having promised Judge's grandfather to protect Judge along the way. But danger soon catches up to them when a strange group of bandits called the Forky Gang attacks in the middle of the night! It quickly becomes clear that someone is targeting Lizel... but who could it be, and for what reason? 

s always, former noble and current adventurer Lizel takes all new developments in stride in his usual, laid-back fashion. He's celebrating his promotion from a simple E-rank to a D-rank adventurer — and setting his sights on ranking up again soon!

I particularly liked this volume because we finally get a glimpse of Lizel's life before he appeared in Gil's world. Although brief, it conveys many feelings that contrast with the calm and relaxed tone of the manga in general. The effect balances the reading quite a bit, not to mention that the development takes us on an interesting path by focusing on more characters in addition to the two protagonists.

The art as always is excellent, with a touch of irony that goes well with the script. It continues to transmit that joy and purity of heart that you rarely find, and that makes me think of this as an Iyashikei manga. There are some more risque scenes that allow precisely for the characters to show other sides, although I would like to see Lizel and Gil leave their comfort zones more often, see more facets of them and not only those of the secondary ones.

I think that would be the only complaint I would have at this time, that precisely the protagonists have shown us only one side of them for now. I'd like to see you both have different reactions, because it does get a bit predictable reading in this regard, although the scenes from the missions still add charm to everything. And this is not a complaint as such, but there are high, very high vibes of LGBT characters here. I know that Lizel and Gil do not fit in the package, but there are others that make me think a lot.

Overall, A Gentle Noble's Vacation Recommendation, Volumen 3 seemed like a pretty good reading to me. Filled with magic, light fantasy, and plot twists, it keeps you entertained until the very end, which is when you wonder when the entire manga went through. The same thing happened to me with the previous ones, yes, but this one was especially fast. Depending on what each one prefers, this can be good or bad, but I loved it and I recommend it blindly.
