Buen día, ¿cómo les va, Nocturnos? Espero que estén mejor. He estado hablando con algunos amigos y parece que a muchos ya nos está afectando el encierro, pero todo terminará pronto, o eso espero. Vamos a cruzar los dedos. Mientras tanto, quiero compartirles mi opinión sobre Harry Potter y la Piedra Filosofal, de J. K. Rowling.

Carece de sentido que lo haga a estas alturas del partido, cuando esta saga terminó hace tanto, pero no había podido leerla sino hasta ahora. También pasa que tengo los libros en portugués, idioma que apenas domino en lo que a lectura respecta, ¿pero quién dijo miedo? ^^’ Lo que sí haré es saltarme el resumen de la historia, que creo que todos lo conocemos bastante bien.
Me sorprendió mucho lo fiel que es la película a esta primera entrega, con solo algunas excepciones que creo van ligadas al presupuesto. Harry Potter y la Piedra Filosofal es sin duda un libro muy sencillo de leer y que incentiva la lectura en los más niños, aunque es impresionante lo oscuro que se tornaba todo en algunos momentos.
J. K. Rowling cuidó mucho los detalles y el tono, aunque siento que exageró un poco al principio. Claro que es un libro para niños, ¿pero irse a una isla en medio de la nada solo por una carta? Esa parte de la historia siempre me pareció muy poco sensata, sin importar las fobias y el odio que sientan los Dursley hacia Harry. También me pregunto por qué a pesar de eso deciden mantenerlo con ellos. ¿No hubiese sido más sencillo darlo en adopción y ya? Solo digo.
No obstante, Harry Potter y la Piedra Filosofal es de esas historias que es imposible no amar. Amé redescubrir Hogwarts, o descubrirlo por primera vez, mejor dicho, porque hay muchos detalles y material que se queda por fuera de las películas. Es una historia que me encantó desde la primera página por el humor y la ironía que se encuentra en cada escena y porque puedes ver el amor que J. K. Rowling puso en esta novela.

It’s doesn’t make sense that I do it right now after this series ended so long ago, but I wasn’t able to read it until recently. I also happen to have the books in Portuguese, a language I can hardly read, but who said fear? ^^’ I would do is to is not to summarize the story, for I think we all know it very well at this point.
It surprised me how loyal the film is to this first installment, with just a few exceptions I believe are because of budget reasons. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone is without a doubt a book very easy to read and that encourages kids to read, although it’s impressive how dark everything turns at some points.
J. K. Rowling took a lot of care in detail and tone, but I feel she exaggerated a little a bit at the beginning. Of course it is a children’s book, but to go to an isle in the middle of nowhere just because of a letter? That part of the story never made sense to me, no matter the phobias and how much the Dursleys hated Harry. I’m also asking myself why they would even keep him. Wouldn’t it have been easier just to give him in adoption?
However, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone is of those stories you just love. I loved to rediscover Hogwarts, or to discover it for the first time, I should say, because there are several details and material left behind in the movies. It’s a story I liked since page one because of the humor and irony present in every scene because you can see all the love J. K. Rowling put in this novel.
