Bajo la dirección de Dermott Downs (episodios 2 y 8), y con un guión de Tamara Becher-Wilkinson (episodios 3, 6 y 13), Jeremy Carver (episodio 1) y Shoshana Sachi (episodios 2, 5 y 12), Ezekiel Patrol nos muestra al equipo más desunido que nunca luego de descubrir las mentiras de Niles, pero Danny los reúne nuevamente cuando corre un peligro mortal: Una rata y una cucaracha gigantes destruyen todo a su paso, poniendo el peligro a alguien muy especial para Niles. Doom Patrol debe volverse todo lo que nunca fueron para salir de esta.
Me encantó. Punto.
Bueno, no tanto así. Jeje. El desarrollo, mostrando escenas del pasado y el presente tan intercalada, me abrumó más de una vez por es una estructura inusual en la serie. Sí quedé un poco inconforme por no tener la pelea épica que estaba esperando, aunque el clímax fue... Interesante, por decir lo menos. Mentiras, no se me ocurre algo más inusual, inquietante (niéguenlo) y bizarro.
El guión apostó por lo arriesgado más de una vez, permitiéndonos ver a Niles en otros roles más allá del de mentor y a cada personaje en situaciones muy distintas, incluso deprimentes, especialmente las escenas de Jane y Rita. Fueron las más honestas y directas de toda la temporada.
Luego de un desarrollo irreverente, y una batalla llena de humor absurdista, el final abre la puerta para muchas posibilidades y un alto potencial. Una producción impecable, un guión arriesgado y actuaciones de primera son el cierre de oro de esta serie. Solo tengo que decir que extrañé a Flex en este episodio, aunque era el momento estelar de los protagonistas, ¡y vaya que lo fue! Necesito la segunda temporada. Ahora.

Well, not so much like that. Hehe. The development, showing scenes from the past and the present so interspersed, overwhelmed me more than once because it's an unusual structure in the series. I was a bit unhappy not to have the epic fight I was expecting, although the climax was... Interesting, to say the least. Lies, I can't think of anything more unusual, unsetting (deny it) and bizarre.
The script bet on the risky more than once, allowing us to see Niles in other roles beyond that of mentor and each character in very different situations, even depressing, especially the scenes of Jane and Rita. They were the most honest and direct of the entire season.
After an irreverent development, and a battle full of absurd humor, the ending opens the door for many possibilities and high potential. An impeccable production, a risky script and first-class performances are the golden closure of this series. I just have to say that I missed Flex in this episode, although it was the main moment for the protagonists, and boy was it! I need the second season. Now.
