BlutEngel - Tränenherz 2

English below

  • Tracklist:
  • 1. Vampire's Call 4:45
  • 2. L.I.E.B.E. 5:14
  • 3. Childhood 3:59
  • 4. Mera Noire 4:37
  • 5. Dein Leben 4:36
  • 6. Death is Calling 4:41
  • 7. Soul in Isolation 5:46
  • 8. Cursed 4:23
  • 9. Mondnacht 5:44
  • 10. Fly Away 5:08
  • 11. Why Did You? 3:42

Good morning, Nocturnos. ^^ I hope you are very well. I'm taking a break from reading, books, and so on, and lately I've found music that is very, very, very beautiful, hahaha. Today I come with the second disc of Tränenherz, by BlutengelThis is the second disc included in the deluxe version of the album, and it also comes in the three disc edition, which includes an instrumental album called Signs of the Zodiac, but that we will put aside.

  • Release Date: 18 de febrero de 2011
  • Genres: Futurepop, Darkwave
  • Duration: 52:41
  • Tracklist:
  • 1. Vampire's Call 4:45
  • 2. L.I.E.B.E. 5:14
  • 3. Childhood 3:59
  • 4. Mera Noire 4:37
  • 5. Dein Leben 4:36
  • 6. Death is Calling 4:41
  • 7. Soul in Isolation 5:46
  • 8. Cursed 4:23
  • 9. Mondnacht 5:44
  • 10. Fly Away 5:08
  • 11. Why Did You? 3:42

While the first disc's bumpy, this one's slower, a little more melancholic and more focused on failed relationships and depression, plus it's almost entirely in German. The lyrics are still simple and direct, but the rhythms change a bit.

Themes like Vampire's Call and Mera Noire directly touch the love between humans and vampires, forbidden and conflictive relationships that make us question what is real and what is fiction. On the other hand, there are the more philosophical tracks, that question the passage of time, like Dein Leben, or that speak of human imperfection, as in the case of Chilhood.

Music-wise, it's a much more experimental disc than the first one, even slower, though Vampire's Call and L.I.E.B.E. they open with energy. Death is Calling stands out precisely for its dance and trance sound, setting the stage for Fly Away, the most moved on the album. It's a very attractive contrast that makes this second volume quite complete in all respects.

Tränenherz 2 is undoubtedly a worthy companion of the first disc and one that extends the dark mythology it creates. The voices of Chris Pohl and Ulrike Goldmann's combine with the music to create a seductive atmosphere that speaks of vampires, blood, death and loves from beyond. Not surprisingly, it's one of Blutengel's most iconic albums.

Greetings and hugs!
