Manga: Kamo: Pact with the Spirit World Volume 3

  • Mangaka: Ban Zarbo.
  • Serie: Kamo: Pact With The Spirit World #3.
    • Editorial: Tokyo Pop.
    • Extensión: 210 páginas.
    • Géneros: Fantasía, Horror, Juvenil, Manga, Shonen.
    • ¿Debería ser publicado en español? ¡Sí!
    • 5/5 estrellas.

#LlorandoEnOtaku.

    ¡Un saludo y un abrazo!

Happy Monday Good morning, Nightlies. ^^' I hope you rested at least a little more than me during this weekend. I have been immersed in reading, writing, editing, and post, and there are some family situations that I have to take care of, but everything seems to be working out, and between breaks I caught up with a manga that I've already told you about. Today I come with the review of Kamo: Pact with the Spirit World Volume 3, by Ban Zarbo. Thanks to the publisher for sending me a copy in exchange for an honest review!

    • Publication Date: January 2, 2018.
    • Mangaka: Ban Zarbo.
    • Serie: Kamo: Pact With The Spirit World #2.
      • Publisher: Tokyo Pop.
      • Print Length: 210 pages.
      • Genres: Fantasy, Horror, Manga, Shonen, Young Adult.
      • Should it be published in Spanish? Yes!
      • 5/5 stars.
Kamo’s understanding of the world has completely fallen apart.
Are the spirits he and Crimson defeat actually coma patients? Seeking answers from Shokola, he is devastated when he learns the truth.
Meanwhile, the twin ghosts Logisto and Intuitiva are making a plan to take Kamo out for good. As the most powerful spirits in the world assemble and ready for battle, this might be one fight that Kamo and Crimson cannot win…

This volume's considerably darker than the previous one, still suitable for minors, but the themes it touches, such as death, revenge, along with the secrets of each of the characters involved, take the story in an unexpected direction. Kamo: Pact with the Spirit World Volume 3 becomes an adventure in every sense of the word because it's a roller coaster of surprises.

Kamo has become much more mature as a result of the secrets that come to light, and although things are somehow resolved there is still a lot to work on, because it's obvious that the story doesn't end there, much less when another of the characters enters into a new pact with another spirit. It was a matter of time before some sort of main villain appeared, and this manga created it to perfection.

As expected, Ban Zarbo's art is flawless, some little things here and there, but it's still the same style that I fell in love with in the first volume. Obviously, Kamo: Pact with the Spirit World Volume 3 has a more polished, more professional style, and an overall better-finished product, but the essence, the magic of each line and the level of detail are still there.

This book leaves the characters in difficult situations, Kamo with a dilemma, Crimson with open wounds, Shokola with new insights into the world of the dead, and a broken heart desperate for revenge on the loose in the middle of so much drama. Kamo: Pact with the Spirit World Volume 3 was perfect from start to finish, and I can't wait to find out what Ban Zarbo has planned for the next volumes. Heaven help me while the next one comes out. #CryingInOtaku.

      Greetings and hugs!
