Buen día, gente bonita. ^^ ¿Cómo les ha ido? Yo sigo con la garganta irritada, tomando cualquier cantidad de tés, antigripales, y tratando de usar la voz lo menos posible (no mucho, para ser honesto), pero he estado escuchando algo que me mantiene de buen humor: Born This Way The Tenth Anniversary, de Lady Gaga. Obvio que iba a hablar de esta belleza en el blog, jeje.

Aunque hablé de varias canciones individualmente a medida que fueron lanzadas, el disco adicional de esta edición es una obra de arte que celebra la diversidad en todos los sentidos imaginables. En serio, si el disco original es suficientemente heterogéneo pero se escucha muy bien en conjunto, este con seis temas reversionados lo es aún más.

Con la música pop como hilo conductor de todos los temas, cada uno se va por una vena diferente, como el disco, bounce music, country, balada rock, synthpop, y rock alternativo. Sin embargo, esto es lo que hace de este disco adicional tan especial, el mantener el alma de Gaga en cada uno de los temas pero también dándole a los invitados la oportunidad de mostrar su estilo con toda confianza y fuerza.

Es difícil escoger un tema favorito porque precisamente son los sencillos los que tienen más fuerza en todo el repertorio de Born This Way The Tenth Anniversary, salvo unas excepciones (sigo insultando a Interscope por no dejar que Scheiße fuese un sencillo #imperdonable), y son los que mejores recuerdos me traen. Sin embargo, creo que por ahora sería la versión de The Edge of Glory por Years & Years. Mención especial para el video precioso que hizo Ben Platt para su versión de Yoü and I.

Born This Way es un disco que marcó a toda una generación, y esta edición del décimo aniversario celebra la diversidad, las diferencias, lo extraño, lo inusual, lo raro, pero con una diversión desvergonzada que no conoce de etiquetas. Con altos y bajos que solo se complementan entre sí sin perder calidad por ningún segundo, Lady Gaga creó el complemento perfecto para su segundo álbum. Born This Way The Tenth Anniversary es una delicia de disco.

I still have a sore throat, drinking any amount of teas, anti-flu, and trying to use my voice as little as possible (not much, to be honest), but I've been listening to something that keeps me in a good mood: Born This Way The Tenth Anniversary, by Lady Gaga. Obviously I was going to talk about this beauty on the blog, hehe.

Although I spoke about several songs individually as they were released, this edition's bonus disc is a work of art that celebrates diversity in every way imaginable. Seriously, if the original album is heterogeneous enough but sounds great as a whole, this one with six reverted songs is even more so.

With pop music as the common thread of all the themes, each one goes through a different vein, such as disco, bounce music, country, rock ballad, synthpop, and alternative rock. However, this is what makes this additional disc so special, keeping Gaga's soul in each of the tracks but also giving guests the opportunity to show their style with confidence and strength.

It is difficult to choose a favorite song because it is precisely the singles that have the most force in the entire repertoire of Born This Way The Tenth Anniversary, with a few exceptions (I keep insulting Interscope for not letting Scheiße be a single # unforgivable), and they are the ones that bring me the best memories. However, I think for now it would be the version of The Edge of Glory by Years & Years. Special mention for the beautiful video that Ben Platt made for his version of Yoü and .

Born This Way is an album that marked an entire generation, and this 10th-anniversary edition celebrates diversity, differences, the strange, unusual, weird, but with shameless fun that doesn't know from labels. With highs and lows that only complement each other without losing quality for any second, Lady Gaga created the perfect complement to her second album. Born This Way The Tenth Anniversary is a record delight.
