Tarot Witch of the Black Rose #99 was a light, fast issue and I quite enjoyed reading, plus there's no need to tell you how much I love Jim's drawings with the colors of Holly.
Tarot Witch of the Black Rose #99 fue un número ligero, rápido y que disfruté bastante de leer, además de que no hace falta que les diga lo mucho que me encantan los dibujos de Jim con los colores de Holly.
This time we found out a little about our favorite witch's past, the kind of life she had before, along with a somewhat special friendship. I can say that is quite ingenious in all the elements it uses and Jim Balent seems to have an endless creativity because of it.
Prepara muy bien lo que veremos en el centésimo número de este cómic, no decepciona, sino que crea muchas expectativas y promete bastante en cuanto al siguiente capítulo de la historia. Es difícil creer que son dos meses de espera, pero toca esperar...
I'm not into reading graphic novels, just because of not knowing any I might like, more than anything else, but Through the Woods, by Emily Carrol, was a work of art in both aspects: stories and graphics.
No soy de leer novelas gráficas, solo por el hecho de no conocer alguna que podría gustarme, más que cualquier otra cosa, pero Through the Woods, por Emily Carrol, fue una obra de arte en ambos aspectos: historias y gráficos.
You already know how much I love The Tarot Cafe, how it has become one of my favorite stories, and I think I'm getting a little obsessed with Park's work because I've just add all of her books to my TBR list. To be honest, when I read Tarot Cafe Vol. 6, what I thought impossible came to life: it was better than all the past volumes!
Ya saben lo mucho que amo The Tarot Cafe, la forma en que se ha convertido en una de mis historias favoritas, y creo que estoy un poco obsesionado con el trabajo de Park porque acabo de añadir todos sus libros a mi lista de TBR. Para ser honesto, cuando leí Tarot Cafe Vol. 6, lo que me pareció imposible se volvió realidad: ¡Fue mejor que todos los anteriores volúmenes!
Pamela's life is one of the most entertaining things I've found in my life. Everything is well explained, has its reason to be, interesting characters, and despite Park has changed the style of her stories, focusing on Pamela's life and not in her clients, it's a change that you don't really notice and even enjoy.
La vida de Pamela es una de las cosas más entretenidas que he encontrado en mi vida. Todo está bien explicado, tiene su razón de ser, personajes interesantes, y a pesar de que Park ha cambiado el estilo de sus historias, centrándose en la vida de Pamela y no en sus clientes, pero es un cambio que no te das cuenta, e incluso disfrutar.
It is hard to think that I only have one more book before reading the whole series, but it has been a very good one and it has lasted enough time. If anyone asks me, I don't know what will happen on the next chapter, but I expect a big fight between demons and dragons. Let's hope it is that way!
Es difícil pensar que sólo tengo un libro más antes de leer toda la serie, pero ha sido una muy buena y que ha durado el tiempo suficiente. Si alguien me pregunta, no sé qué va a pasar en el siguiente capítulo, pero espero una pelea grande entre demonios y dragones. Esperemos que es de esa manera!

It prepares the ground for what we'll see in the hundredth issue of this comic, doesn't disappoint, but creates a lot of expectations and promises a lot in terms of the next chapter of the story. Each of the tales there are quite original, have the charm of those old stories that we learned as children, along with an atmosphere and totally surprising, dark twist, much like the style of Edgar Allan Poe. Entertaining, although some were short in sense.
Cada uno de los cuentos que hay son bastante originales, tienen el encanto de esas viejas historias que aprendimos de niños, junto con un ambiente y giro totalmente sorpresivo, oscuro, muy al estilo de Edgar Allan Poe. Entretenidos, aunque algunos se quedan cortos en cuanto al sentido.
As for art, it was simple and at the same time well-crafted, incorporating narration and dialogues in an artistical form. Doesn't have many details, you can practically see everything on the page with a quick glance, but the so intense colors with the contrast impact so much you stay watching for another while.
En cuanto al arte, fue sencillo y a la vez bien elaborado, incorporando la narración y los diálogos de forma artística. No tiene muchos detalles, prácticamente puedes ver todo lo que hay en la página con una mirada rápida, pero los colores tan intensos junto con el contraste impactan de tal manera que te quedas viendo por otro rato.
