Para ir recuperando las costumbres, quería empezar mi regreso con una sección que me gusta mucho: Pensando. El día de hoy, ¿Es mejor escribir a brújula o a mapa? Dejen que les explico.
Compass: If you write the first thing that comes into your mind, without timelines, without thinking first on the characters, without plot sketches, and you prefer to let it all flow as you write, you write by compass.
Mapa: Todo lo contrario, escribes con los personajes pensados y definidos, la trama esbozada, los puntos generales de cómo se desarrollará todo, el tipo de historia, mapas del lugar en donde ocurre todo, fichas, de todo. Si tienes todo eso, escribes a mapa.
Map: The complete opposite, you write ith the characters thought and defined, the plot outlined, the general points of who all is gonna happen, the kind of story, maps of the plot's place, chips, everything. If you hace all that, you write by map.
Yo ya he probado ambas formas digo que para mí una fusión de ambas es lo ideal: Hay que tener una idea preconcebida, al menos una general, para poder organizar todo. Mi historia Reflections de Wattpad está parada precisamente por eso, no tengo completamente la línea argumental de la trama y me ha costado seguirla; algo similar pasa con Verantina de Veniseria.
I've tried both ways I say that for me a fusion of both is ideal: You have to have a preconceived idea, at least general, to organize everything. My story Reflections on Wattpad is paused precisely because I don't habve completely the storyline of the plot and has cost me follow; something similar happens with Verantina de Veniseria.
Escribir con todo planeado, fríamente calculado podría hacer que la historia se vea lineal, me siento atrapado haciéndolo, y hacerlo totalmente libre me hace irme por todos lados, alargar la historia sin necesidad. Si se fusionan ambos, tienes un viaje seguro y no muy arriesgado, pero con sorpresas igualmente.
Writing with everything planned, coldly calculated could make the story look straight, I'm stuck doing it, and make it totally free makes me go everywhere without long story. If both are merged, you have a safe trip and not very risky, but also surprises.
