Last week I rediscovered the magic of art and past. If you follow me on Instagram you will have noticed that I shared a 1880 painting by Spanish artist Luis Ricardo Falero, titled as "Festival of the Witches."
It is not a mystery that I have always been interested in women and men that used magic, either in history or fiction, and that I've used the topic in almost all of my books, so it is not surprising that I shared this piece of culture with you.
The reason for this is very similar to Carlos J. Eguren's to comment on Eva Green: This redheaded inspires so many things in me I could get lost gazing upon her as I imagine the different stories she could be involved in.

Is she about to cast a spell? Flying to a sabbath? Guiding the souls of the dead? Honoring her old Gods and Goddesses? No one will ever know why she is flying, for the only man that truly did died at the age of 45 in 1896.
I've started meditating with this image, paying attention to her world, the elements that surround her and what her world is made of. Being the son of an artist made (almost) all forms of art appealing to me, and it's about time for me to rediscover the magic of paintings.

La semana pasada redescubrí la magia del arte y el pasado. Si me siguen en Instagram, habrán notado que compartí una pintura de 1880 del artista español Luis Ricardo Falero, titulada "La fiesta de las brujas".
No es un misterio que siempre me hayan interesado las mujeres y los hombres que utilizan la magia, ya sea en la historia o la ficción, y que he usado el tema en casi todos mis libros, así que no es sorprendente que haya compartido esta pieza. de cultura con ustedes.
La razón de esto es muy similar a la de Carlos J. Eguren para comentar sobre Eva Green: Esta pelirroja inspira tantas cosas en mí que podría perderme mirándola mientras imagino las diferentes historias en las que podría estar involucrada.
¿Está a punto de lanzar un hechizo? ¿Volando a un sabbat? ¿Guiando las almas de los muertos? ¿Honrando a sus viejos dioses y diosas? Nadie sabrá nunca por qué está fingiendo, porque el único hombre que realmente lo hizo murió a la edad de 45 años en 1896.
Empecé a meditar con esta imagen, prestando atención a su mundo, los elementos que la rodean y de lo que está hecho su mundo. Ser el hijo de un artista me hizo atractivas (casi) todas las formas de arte, y ya es hora de que vuelva a descubrir la magia de las pinturas.
