Tarot Cafe Vol 4 + Doctor Strange #10 + Pinocchio, Vampire Slayer

Hi guys! Today I wanted to talk about some comics that I read recently, all fantasy and two of them quite dark.
¡Hola chicos! Para hoy quise hablarles de algunos cómics que leí recientemente, todos de fantasía y dos de ellos bastante oscuros.
The first one is Tarot Cafe Vol. 4 (you can also read the reviews for Vol. 1, Vol. 2 and Vol. 3,) and I can start by saying that now seems the real stry is about to start, a little late, but there are still three books.
El primero es Tarot Cafe Vol. 4 (pueden leer también las reseñas del Vol. 1, Vol. 2 y el Vol. 3), y puedo ir comenzar diciendo que ya parece comenzar la verdadera historia, un poco tarde, pero aún quedan tres libros.
I felt a little slow the first chapter, as if the story didn't come out very natural to Park, but has very classic gothic and mystery elements, I believe that even a clear influence of Poe's stories. The characters seemed quite soulful, and that she included heterosexual relationships gives some balance to the saga. I'll be waiting lesbian relationships in the next books for this very reason.
Sentí un poco lento el primer capítulo, como si la historia no le saliera muy natural a Park, aunque tiene elementos góticos y de misterio muy clásicos, creo que incluso una clara influencia de las historias de Poe. Los personajes me parecieron bastante enternecedores, y el hecho de que incluyera relaciones heterosexuales le da cierto equilibrio a la saga. Estaré esperando relaciones lésbicas en los próximos libros por esto mismo.
In the second, we FINALLY see Pamela's past and how was that she met Belus. It took me by surprise all I saw here and I admit it was beginning to bother me so much mystery on this girl's past, so for me, the revelation came just in time to save this saga.
En la segunda, vemos POR FIN el pasado de Pamela y cómo fue que conoció a Belus. Me tomó por sorpresa todo lo que vi aquí y admito que me comenzaba a molestar tanto misterio con respecto al pasado de esta chica, así que par mí, la revelación llegó justo a tiempo para salvar esta saga.
The third was somewhat confusing at first, and although there are things I still don't understand at all, I'm quite intrigued by what will happen now, as it's only the first part the creator presents us.
La tercera fue más o menos confusa al principio, y aunque hay cosas que sigo sin entender del todo, estoy bastante intrigado por lo que pasará a continuación, pues es solo la primera parte la que nos presenta la creadora.

I also read Doctor Strange # 10, the ending for Last Days of Magic arc. Epic! The waiting was driving me crazy, I wanted to know once and for all what the hell was going to happen and Aaron didn't disappoint me. It's a good end to the arc and an opening to the adventures that will come later.
También pude leer Doctor Strange #10, la conclusión del arco Last Days of Magic. ¡Épico! La espera me estaba desquiciando, quería saber de una buena vez qué carajos iba a pasar y Aaron no me decepcionó. Es un buen final para el arco y apertura para las aventuras que vendrán más adelante.
The graphics also surprised me, gave it the right dose of drama to the whole issue, plus I would never get tired of seeing the art this team makes in each of the pages; it's the forte of this saga.
La parte gráfica me sorprendió también, le dio su correcta dosis de drama a todo el número, además de que nunca me cansaría de ver el arte que hace este equipo en cada una de las páginas; es el fuerte de esta saga.

Finally, I spent a great evening with the graphic novel "Pinocchio, Vampire Slayer," a very witty and creative retelling of the original story, dark, filled in action, funny, with excellent black comedy and solid in terms of plot.

Por último, pasé una excelente tarde con la novela gráfica "Pinocchio, Vampire Slayer", un recuento muy ingenioso y creativo de la historia original, oscuro, lleno de acción, divertido, con un excelente humor negro y sólido en término de trama.
The vampire theme fits perfect the wooden doll has a faster rate than loved, plus the introduction to know the original story was a good way to start; many points added just for that.
El tema de los vampiros le queda perfecto al muñeco de madera, tiene un ritmo rápido que me encantó, además de que la introducción para conocer la historia original fue una buena manera de empezar; muchos puntos sumados solo por eso.
Speakign about the art, I'm not a fan of the noir aesthetic, but here it was the right choice. It wasn{t difficult to read after starting. The end, just because of the aesthetics, impressed me a lot, a clever plot-twist, though cliché, they knew how to use it.
Con respecto al arte, no soy fanático de la estética Noir, pero aquí fue la elección justa. No fue difícil leer luego de empezar. El final, justamente por la estética, me impresionó bastante, un giro ingenioso que, aunque cliché, supieron usar hasta decir basta.
