Este 27 de mayo, Gaga anunció que el 18 de junio tendríamos una edición especial de dos discos por el aniversario de 10 años de esta obra maestra: el primero con las 14 pistas originales y el segundo con seis covers por artistas LGBT+. El primer cover, Judas de Big Freedia, fue lanzado ese mismo día y lo pueden escuchar más abajo junto con la versión original. Si me preguntan, es una versión demasiado divertida de una canción oscura y poética, ¡y me encanta!
De acuerdo a Santa Wikipedia, este segundo disco consiste en Marry The Night, Judas, Highway Unicorn (Road to Love), You and I, Edge of Glory, y Born This Way (The Country Road Version). Teniendo en cuenta los emoticones que compartió Gaga en el post de Instagram, estoy totalmente de acuerdo salvo con la Country Road Version, aunque sería interesante ver un cover de un remix.
Lanzado originalmente el 23 de mayo de 2011, el segundo disco de Gaga debutó en el N. 1 en Billboard 200 con más de 1 millón de copias vendidas en su primera semana, con un tour fue un fenómeno de casi 100 shows alrededor del mundo por más de un año y que definió la carrera de la Mother Monster. No en vano, es un disco que habla de sexualidad, los inmigrantes, autoestima, la identidad, religión, política, feminismo, y libertad en general.
Born This Way fue una parte muy importante de mi adolescencia cuando lidiaba con el acoso y abuso escolar, fue un disco que me dio esperanza, me dio fuerza, me ayudó a drenar todo lo que sentía por dentro, a darme cuenta de que yo no estaba haciendo nada mal, y hizo sonreír más de una vez cuando sentía que no podía hacerlo. Este disco fue mi salvavidas, y no podría haber mejor momento para relazar este monstruo con varios himnos que reseteó la cultura popular que en el mes del orgullo.
Como dato curioso y para los más fanáticos, la Born This Way Japanese Special Edition es la versión más extensa de esta perfección de disco. Hay algunos remixes que no están presentes, pero en lo que a contenido se refiere, es el más extenso con respecto a canciones y mezclas. ¡Solo tenemos que esperar!

This album was my lifeline, and there couldn't be a better time to relaunch this monster with various hymns that reset popular culture than in pride month.
As a curious fact and for the most fanatics, the Born This Way Japanese Special Edition is the most extensive version of this perfection of a record. There are some remixes that are not present, but as far as content is concerned, it is the most extensive in terms of songs and mixes. We just need to wait!
