Comic: Mirka Andolfo’s Mercy #4

English below

  • Creadora: Mirka Andolfo
  • Fecha de publicación: 29 de julio 2020
  • Editorial: Image Comics
  • Saga: Mirka Andolfo’s Mercy #4

Good morning beautiful people. ^^ How does the week treat you? Finally, the new issue of Mirka Andolfo’s Mercy came out, a comic that has not stopped surprising me since it came out and that is aesthetically very, very attractive. It's a very interesting dark (rural?) Fantasy world that you should read if you like the genre.

  • Creator: Mirka Andolfo
  • Publication date: July 29, 2020
  • Publisher: Image Comics
  • Saga: Mirka Andolfo’s Mercy # 4
  • Print Length: 28 pages
  • Genres: Horror, comic
  • Should it be translated into Spanish? Yes
Just when Goodwill needs her most, Lady Hellaine is on the verge of collapse! Will unexpected help from an unlikely ally be enough to turn the tide? Place your bets: it’s time to unveil the identity of the infamous Woodsburgh Devil, and if you thought the end of the previous issue was shocking, well—think again! You’re in for a hell of a ride, fellas.

This fourth issue left me a little confused because I didn't quite understand what was going on. Several new characters appeared but whose motifs or previous story were very much in the air, Lady Hellaine makes some decisions that confused me, and the rest of the cast seemed to be there simply to fill in the gap.

It seems that Mirka Andolfo concentrated more on art and the visual aspect, because she has many panels and striking ideas. I was looking at several of the images due to the visual impact they have, in addition to immersing you in the world more than in previous issues. The contrast of the colors is very noticeable and adds more drama to everything.

However, I am still confused by the script. There are many additions, surprises with potential, but they seemed more like loose ends in this issue of Mirka Andolfo’s Mercy. It's pretty transitory without much action, but that could lay the foundation for a good fight later in the series, mainly because Lady Hellaine now has reason to take revenge and take a more active role in the story than the lady hiding in the shades.

Greetings and hugs!
