Mientras esperamos a que llegue The Bitter Truth, el quinto álbum de Evanescence, la banda liderada por Amy Lee sigue lanzando sencillos y sorprendiendo a sus fans. Fue mi caso cuando escuché el tercer sencillo, Use My Voice, lanzado ayer 14 de agosto. ¡Qué cosa más hermosa!
Con un sonido un poco más ligero pero lleno de energía y una letra directa que habla sobre la libertad de expresión, la integridad y la honestidad, la banda muestra nuevamente su compromiso con la sociedad y con sus seguidores. Además, nadie puede negar que es un tema pegajoso.
No sería la primera vez que Evanescence critica la sociedad o le habla a sus fans. Ya lo habían hecho en los sencillos Everybody's Fool, What You Want, My Heart Is Broken, e Imperfection, por solo mencionar algunos. Use My Voice se une al grupo, y destaca por su sinceridad y poder.
Aunque The Bitter Truth sigue sin fecha oficial de lanzamiento, Amy prometió que sería este año y que ni siquiera la pandemia cambiaría esos planes. Mientras tanto, sencillo tras sencillo, todos los fans elevamos la voz y esperamos por el video oficial (pero que no sea como los dos anteriores, por favor).

While we wait for The Bitter Truth, Evanescence's fifth album to arrive, the band led by Amy Lee continues to release singles and surprise their fans. It was my case when I heard the third single, Use My Voice, released yesterday, August 14. Such a beautiful thing!
With a slightly lighter but energetic sound and direct lyrics that speak about freedom of expression, integrity and honesty, the band once again shows its commitment to society and its fans. Also, no one can deny that it is a sticky track.
It would not be the first time that Evanescence criticized society or spoke to its fans. They had already done it on the singles Everybody's Fool, What You Want, My Heart Is Broken, and Imperfection, just to mention a few. Use My Voice joins the group, and stands out for its sincerity and power.
Although The Bitter Truth remains without an official release date, Amy promised it would be this year and that even the pandemic would not change those plans. Meanwhile, single after single, all the fans raise our voices and wait for the official video (but not like the previous two, please).
