Another week, another book, or in this case, another comic. The land of Esseriel is on the brink of war as tensions between the human and faerie realms mount. Wynd continues to grapple with the idea that he might be the only hope for peace, and what his role may be if he is truly one of the legendary Winged Ones. From the GLAAD Award-winning creative team behind The Woods, Eisner Award winner James Tynion IV (Batman, Something is Killing the Children) and artist Michael Dialynas (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles), comes a brand new adventure into mysterious legends and ancient prophecies!

The first time I read Wynd's story, and everything that was happening in his world, I was enchanted. It became one of my favorite series in a short time because of the topics it touches on, the development, its characters, and how original it is. James Tynion IV created a world in which it is very easy to lose yourself, let time pass carefree, immersed in an adventure that gives you back the illusion of being a child.

On the other hand, the art of Michael Dialynas shines at all times. The design of each page and the colors are beautiful, adapting the atmosphere of each scene to match the tone of the script. I could say that there are also times when the level of detail left me speechless, the kind that turns the pages into a printed film.

I can't really say anything negative on this occasion. The ups and downs of the plot play very much in favor of reading, giving importance to the key moments without neglecting the development. Time flies by as you discover what new challenges the characters have to face, and although it's true that the romantic element is left a bit to one side, it doesn't feel that something elemental is missing from the plot.

Reading Wynd: The Throne in the Sky #1 gives you back your sense of wonder, shows you reality from another point of view, and you get to know its protagonists better. The plot evolves in a short time, becoming much more interesting than when it started. This keeps getting better and better, and I can't wait to see how it all goes.

      Greetings and hugs!
