Cómic: Grim #4

Lo esperé con ansias, y aunque diferente a lo que pensé que sería, sigue siendo una historia interesante que te mantiene inmerso en su mundo: Grim #4, de Stephanie Phillips y Flaviano. ¡Gracias a la editorial por enviarme una copia a cambio de una reseña honesta!

Con su propia vida en el más allá en juego, Jess se ve obligada a enfrentarse a una figura misteriosa, lo que genera preguntas sobre su propia muerte misteriosa. Jess, ahora fugitiva, necesita respuestas y se está quedando sin opciones. ¡Afortunadamente, su guadaña podría ser la clave para descifrar todo este misterio!

Este fue un número más calmado a comparación de los demás, muy atmosférico, donde vemos a varios personajes interactuar en un ambiente diferente a lo que suelen estar acostumbrados. Hay varias sorpresas de por medio y secretos que empiezan a asomarse, pero sin revelar todos los detalles, además de que es un número que se pasa volando.

Puedo decir más bien poco sobre el arte porque ya no me sorprende lo hermosas que se ven las páginas. La paleta de colores es uno de los principales atractivos de esta historia. Cada una tiene un toque especial, además de que hay escenarios que te dejan sin aliento, uno en particular que espero ver una vez más.

Sin embargo, me dejó un sabor amargo en la boca porque realmente no hay algo que pueda resaltar en lo que a este número respecta. Sentí que el guión se tambaleaba en algunas escenas, haciendo la lectura un poco lenta. En retrospectiva, bien puede ser la calma antes de la tormenta, solo que esperaba un mejor desarrollo, más contenido y sustancia.

Aunque ligero en acción y dependiente de la atmósfera, la historia de Jessica Harrow se mantiene entretenida en Grim #4. Es un número curioso que revela las verdaderas caras algunos personajes y sienta las bases de un desarrollo más interesante.

With her very afterlife at stake, Jess is forced to confront a mysterious figure, raising questions about her own mysterious death. Now a fugitive, Jess needs answers and is running out of options. Luckily, her scythe might be the key to deciphering this entire mystery!

This was a calmer issue compared to the others, very atmospheric, where we see several characters interact in a different environment than what they're used to. There are several surprises involved and secrets that begin to appear, but without revealing all the details, in addition to the fact that it's an issue that flies by.

I can say rather little about the art because I'm no longer surprised at how beautiful the pages look. The color palette is one of the main attractions of this story. Each one has a special touch, plus there are scenarios that take your breath away, one in particular that I hope to see once again.

However, it left a sour taste in my mouth because there really isn't one thing that stands out when it comes to this issue. I felt the script wobbled in some scenes, making the read a bit slow. In retrospect, it may well be the calm before the storm, only I expected better development, more content and substance.

Though light on action and reliant on atmosphere, Jessica Harrow's story remains entertaining in Grim #4. It is a curious issue that reveals the true faces of some characters and lays the foundation for a more interesting development.
