As I said before, this week has been pretty hectic, and although the entry's a little late, I didn't want to stop writing about the comics I've been reading. As I was short of time, I couldn't get to read the fifth volume of Tarot Café, but there is still material for today ^^
Como les dije antes, esta semana ha estado bastante agitada, y aunque la entrada está algo tarde, no quise dejar de escribir sobre los comics que he estado leyendo. Cómo estuve falto de tiempo, no logré leer el quinto volumen de Tarot Café, pero aún así hay material para hoy ^^
Red Thorn #10 was a bit odd, not really what I was expecting, and although I'm still wondering what happened to Isla, Tarek and the other characters, I think for now these people are concentrating more on Thorn for the moment and then we will find out what will be of the rest.
Red Thorn #10 fue un poco extraño, no era realmente lo que estaba esperando, y aunque sigo preguntándome qué fue de Isla, Tarek y demás personajes, creo que por ahora esta gente se está concentrando más en Thorn por el momento y luego averiguaremos qué será del resto.
However, I cannot deny that, at least, it has been an entertaining chapter and it made me wonder what's going on in this world, so I will continue betting on this comic. Also, how not to love the art on each page and the covers? You can blame me for being superficial, but impossible not to do it.
Sin embargo, no puedo negar que, al menos, ha sido un capítulo entretenido y me ha hecho preguntarme qué está pasando en este mundo, así que seguiré apostando por este cómic. Además, ¿cómo no amar el arte que hay en cada página y las portadas? Pueden culparme por ser superficial, pero imposible no hacerlo.
This week's second comic was an excuse to get more money at the expense of fans and a movie that came out recently: "Batman Noir: The Killing Joke." It is simply the original comic book without the coloring, the original inking, and a gallery of covers in the same style at the end of the book.
El segundo cómic de esta semana fue una excusa para sacar más dinero a costillas de los fans y una película que salió hace poco tiempo: "Batman Noir: The Killing Joke". Es simplemente el cómic original sin el coloreado, el entintado original, y una galería de portadas en el mismo estilo al final del libro.
I must say it was pretty disappointing, but an interesting addition for fans of Batman and this particular story. I was never a follower of the Dark Knight, but quite the opposite, although that doesn't prevent me from admiting how good this story is, though I doubt A LOT I will ever buy the same book, no matter how much noir it is.
Debo decir que fue bastante decepcionante, pero una adición interesante para los fans de Batman y de esta historia en particular. Nunca fui un seguidor del Caballero de la Noche, sino todo lo contrario, aunque eso no evita que admita lo buena de esta historia, aunque dudo MUCHO que llegue a comprar el mismo libro, por muy noir que sea.
