Buenos días, gente bonita. Espero que estén bien y se sientan con ganas de algo diferente, porque hoy les quiero contar sobre un proyecto futuro que les va a encantar. ¡Yo ya estoy enamorado! Se trata de una historia de fantasía escrita por un padre neurodivergente inspirado en sus dos hijos autistas. En vez de contarles todo yo, prefiero que sea el propio autor quien les cuente más sobre este proyecto tan hermoso:
Mi nombre es Matthew English y soy un padre neurodivergente de dos niños en el espectro autista. The Tender Prism es una novela de fantasía que trata sobre una familia que enfrenta el aislamiento de una discapacidad no diagnosticada y la diferencia, la persecución y el exilio de su hogar. Ya me veo comprando este libro tan pronto como esté en el mercado, pero para que sea posible Matt necesita todo el apoyo que podamos darle. La meta inicial ya se cumplió, así que el libro será una realidad, pero aún hay trabajo por hacer:

I'm already in love for sure! It's a fantasy story written by a neurodivergent father inspired by his two autistic sons. Instead of telling you everything myself, I prefer that it be the author himself who tells you more about this beautiful project:
My name is Matthew English, and I am a neurodivergent father of two boys on the autism spectrum. The Tender Prism is a fantasy novel that about a family coping with the isolation of undiagnosed disability and difference, persecution, and exile from their home. The mystery surrounding their child’s struggles, as well as the family’s journey, are an allegory for my journey as a parent on the spectrum raising two sons having their own unique walks with autism.(...)The story centers on Lucca, a non-verbal child with the ability to manipulate sound and light waves. He and his family are fleeing an emperor seeking to eradicate all “variants” and consolidate his power. Along the way, they rescue another variant child, Cressa, whose songs provide a medium through which Lucca begins to learn to control his chaotic abilities. The book also follows Vashra, the gargoyle queen. She leads her three closest rookmates on a revenge mission against the emperor who betrayed her and her people. When Vashra and the families stories’ converge, the gargoyles’ tutelage helps the children focus their gifts into a power strong enough to rival even that of the emperor.
I can see myself buying this book as soon as it's on the market, but for that to happen, Matt needs all the support we can give him. If money is a problem, follow and share on all social networks and that more people find out about this story. The initial goal has already been met, so the book will be a reality, but there is still work to be done:
