Buenos días, gente. ^^ Espero que estén bien. Últimamente he leído varias historias de cierta persona, un autor que ya les mencioné en una ocasión. Hoy vengo con una recopilación de cuentos que a más de uno le va a encantar. Se trata de Historias de Ultratumba, de Leónidas Küdell.

Pues la sinopsis es bastante directa y habla por sí sola. El libro es una recopilación de relatos y microrelatos que van desde la oscuridad más sutil hasta el terror pleno, y buenas dosis de humor negro que hacen reír hasta el gótico más serio de todos. También mucho contenido LGBT+ y un poco de romance aquí y allá, pero lo principal es el terror.
El contraste entre las historias juega muy a favor del libro, y como en todas las antologías hay un poco te todo para cada tipo de lector. Hasta ahora me gusta mucho lo que he leído, tengo mis favoritos, y planeo seguir leyendo, porque Leo tiene muy buena mano a la hora de escribir y se maneja muy bien con diferentes ideas.
Lo que más me gusta es justamente eso, la variedad, y que muchos de los relatos son bastante cortos, obviando los micros que se leen en un parpadeo y te arrancan una sonrisa. Es un libro perfecto por si quieres algo de buena calidad para pasar el rato y disfrutar el espíritu de este mes. Yo lo he ido haciendo y vaya que te inspira para escribir.
Pienso que tranquilamente es un libro que se podría publicar, y con esos números que no paran de subir no sería sorpresa. Además, nada más miren esa portada y díganme que no les gustaría tenerla en la biblioteca. *Babas* Historias de Ultratumba es en definitiva de lectura obligatoria para los amantes del Halloween, ¡he dicho!

Well, the synopsis is pretty straightforward and speaks for itself. The book is a compilation of stories and micro-stories that go from the most subtle darkness to full terror, and a good dose of black humor that makes even the most serious Gothic of all laugh. Also a lot of LGBT+ content and a bit of romance here and there, but the main thing is horror.
The contrast between the stories plays very much in the book's favor, and as in all anthologies there's a bit of everything for each type of reader. So far I really like what I have read, I have my favorites, and I plan to continue reading, because Leo has a very good hand at writing and handles different ideas very well.
What I like the most is precisely that, the variety, and that many of the stories are quite short, ignoring the micros that are read in the blink of an eye and make you smile. It's a perfect book if you want something of good quality to spend time and enjoy the spirit of this month. I've been doing it and boy does it inspire you to write.
I think that it's quietly a book that could be published, and with those numbers that don't stop rising it wouldn't be a surprise. Also, just look at that cover and tell me you wouldn't like to have it in the library. *Drooling* Historias de Ultratumba is definitely a must-read for Halloween lovers, I said!
