Buenos días, Nocturnos. Vengo de Chromatica, la tierra prometida, el paraíso, la perfección... Okay, me calmo. Mañana les hablaré al respecto, pero hoy les quiero contar con respecto al nuevo episodio de Doom Patrol.
Esta vez, nuestros protagonistas deben volverse héroes, sin derecho a replica, si desean salvar a Cyborg de la Oficina de la Normalidad. Trabajando juntos con el padre de Víctor, Silas Stone, el cuarteto decide hacerle frente a una organización que podría destruirlos en un abrir y cerrar de ojos, pero ambos lados se llevarán más de una sorpresa.
Este episodio escrito por Robert Berens (début) y Shoshana Sachi (episodios 2 y 5) está cargado de tensión y drama. Perdí la cuenta de los plot twists y la veces que este guión jugó con mi cabeza. Es uno de los más oscuros de la serie hasta ahora, y por primera vez hay muy buenos motivos para no preocuparse por la ausencia de Niles Caulder.
La idea en general me gustó bastante, al igual que el desarrollo tanto de la trama como de los personajes. Se ve que han cambiado con el paso de la serie, aunque me llamó la atención el hecho de que Larry se mantuviera consciente aunque el espíritu negativo estuviera fuera de él por primera vez. Fue curioso, pero abre la puerta a más posibilidades.
Finalmente, el cierre me dejó sin palabras. Como dije, los plot twists están a la orden del día, y este fue la cereza del pastel. A medida que avanza la serie, más ganas tengo de saber cómo terminará. Hubo mucho amor en toda la producción, y ni hablar de la dirección de Carol Banker.

This episode written by Robert Berens (debut) and Shoshana Sachi (episodes 2 and 5) is loaded with tension and drama. I lost count of plot twists and the times this script played with my head. It's one of the darkest in the series so far, and for the first time there are very good reasons not to worry about Niles Caulder's absence.
I liked the idea in general, as well as the development of both the plot and the characters. It is seen that they have changed with the passage of the series, although I was struck by the fact that Larry remained conscious even though the negative spirit was outside of him for the first time. It was curious, but opens the door to more possibilities.
Finally, the ending left me speechless. As I said, plot twists are the order of the day, and this was the cherry on the cake. As the series progresses, I want to know how it will end. There was a lot of love in the entire production, not to mention Carol Banker's direction.
