Buenas buenas. Espero que estén todos bien. ^^ Luego de ver el final de temporada de Doom Patrol quería saber qué esperarme en la segunda temporada, y me enteré de que el miércoles salió el trailer oficial. ¿Les digo algo? Esto se ve muy, muy bien.

Si bien la idea del miembro perdido ya la teníamos en toda la primera temporada con Niles, esta vez parece que Dorothy, su hija, tendrá un papel más importante. Muchos han dicho que es el personaje más poderoso del universo DC. Sin embargo, es claro que la serie mantiene el humor irreverente que la caracteriza.

Le di un vistazo a los nuevos personajes, y también me gusta lo que estoy viendo: Roger Floyd será Red Jack, un ser extraño que asegura se Dios (me da vibras a lo Cult Patrol), Abigail Shapiro éncarnará a la hija de Niles, Dorothy Spinner (!), Karen Obilom será Roni Evers, una veterana con un misterioso pasado a la que Victor conoce en un grupo para tratar su trastorno por estrés postraumático (TEPT), y veremos a una nueva personalidad de Jane en manos de Samantha Marie Ware. Como dije, esto me gusta.

He aprendido a querer mucho esta serie y me ha mostrado cosas que deberían ser más que obvias a estas alturas de la vida, pero más que todo me ha hecho enamorarme aún más de mis locuras, de mis irreverencias, de las decisiones ilógicas y de sacarle el dedo medio al mundo. Doom Patrol está lejos de ser un equipo noble de super héroes, y es lo que los hace tan único.

Les soy honesto, no sé qué esperar de esta temporada, pero debe ser muy bueno considerando que serán solo 9 episodios, y me parece haber leído que los primeros tres se estrenarían simultáneamente en HBO Max. Casi la mitad de la serie en una sentada. DC Está arriesgándose mucho, pero si ya hicieron un buen trabajo con la primera temporada, podemos esperar algo igual o mejor en esta segunda.

As I said, I like this.

I've learned to love this series a lot and it has shown me things that should be more than obvious at this point in life, but more than anything, it has made me fall even more in love with my follies, my irreverences, with illogical decisions and giving the middle finger to the world. Doom Patrol is far from being a noble team of superheroes, and that's what makes them so unique.

Being honest, I don't know what to expect from this season, but it must be very good considering that it will only be 9 episodes, and I think I read that the first three would be released simultaneously on HBO Max. Almost half the series in one sitting. DC is taking a big risk, but if they already did a good job with the first season, we can expect something the same or better this second.
